I've already grown used to this.

Nerfs first, Buffs after. It's better to have the champions reduced down to see what fundamentally needs changing.

Thanks for the update, Jebus. Will change the OP now.

edit: Oh, great, you went and edited my post. -_-

They're saying they want heals to be more clutch. But in my mind increasing the cool down and reducing the healed amount seem to be....Well not clutch but worthless. However, they're trying to change the meta as well. and with the potential removal of ignites mortal strike debuff, these changes might feel more balanced. They heal less thus removing the need to have mortal strike effects, at least an ignite version I mean.

@Jeffy:
That's because you haven't seen the full heal rework.

ALL heals will be weaker, with a bigger emphasis on utility. (Except for Karma, she's only getting buffs.) This WILL make all heals look more clutch in the long run.
However, it is a big across-the-board nerf to heals.

So brace yourself, Jeffy-boy. If you're unhappy now, you'll be miserable in the following month.

I don't play supports. So the released changes to supportive healing don't really matter to me. But it's something to discuss.

wholeheartedly agree.
if you want a clutch heal, make the CD 30 seconds and make it heal for a massive amount, that is clutch

I challenge anyone to defend those Taric changes as not being a massive nerf.

Hell yeah its a massive nerf.

The only thing taric will be useful for is his stun.

You don't farm CS with Taric becaus hes support, and upping his Attack speed is useful in what way ?

@Yukimaru:

That's a negative.

All sustain-related skills will be getting touched up. That means Life-Steal and Spell-Vamp will be taking a hit as well.
Or, Riot will make other items more appealing. So taking life-steal or spell-vamp will actually hurt your build unless you have synergy with it on your kit.

Good examples of related sustain nerfs are the minion-heal nerfs to Transcendent Blades and Ravenous Flock.
Today, I noticed it was significantly easily to own a Swain in lane, because he kept trying to heal off minions. My harass negated it entirely. :)

God, I loove these Nidalee changes. Her heal might not be as powerful now, but then i again, I wasn't a bug fan of maxing her heal first. CD and mana cost reduction on her Q are going to be huge, and nerfd to her heal ratios are going to affect most people's gameplay. Also, Pounce being affected by CDR (****ing finally). Soraka nerfs pretty much were incoming, her ult just does too much globally for her team right now and she can just babysit like no other support.
