Akali gets sustain and decent healing a lot faster and her burst is great with an AoE field that's relevant early game in ganks and stuff. Diana has AoE utility and a lot of burst as well, although she drinks mana like Gragas drinks any type of alcohol. You could say Akali's escapeability is a tiny bit more reliable. I'm not saying akali is better. I'm just saying they have subttle differences. I for one prefer playing Diana, but only because of the jokes[/quote]
