Tiamat on Corki? Thoughts? Concerns?

Corki is already a master of that AoE damage. Throwing in a Tiamat gives more AoE potential with basic attacks, some juicy HP regen (real handy with Corki's escape) and some much needed mana regen (a small amount for those of us who know it is much better to play without Manamune

I'm still trying to find a place to fit it in. I usually roll Boots > Trinity Force > BT > Banshee's Veil... but have been thinking about replacing the veil with Tiamat for games where I've got a decent lead, and really don't need to focus on defense that much.

Thoughts?

EDIT: I'm looking at 35% damage splash, on top of the damage I already have in place - stacked on top of an ability (from Trinity Force) ... That's 300-400 splash damage, per basic attack used after an ability, if I'm not mistaken. Will test shortly.

PS: Yes, I know I try to put Tiamat on every possible Champion. Everyone has bad habits.

Start with Tiamat imo, if you are going to use it.

I was thinking of that. About to playtest now. My main concern in getting the Tiamat early would be over-extending my lane. Perhaps I will take it after Trinity-Force (usually near end of laning), and before BT?

I doubt you will over-extend your lane because of 35% splash damage, and the splash zone is kinda small so it's possible to limit the amount of minions that get hit by it, if you target correctly.

Try considering that splash something like Tristana's E passive; just last-hitting won't give your lane an ungodly push

Actually, unless people decide to stand right next to each other then you'll never actually bring that into effect.

They really need to either make Tiamat build into something or increase the splash range and regen for it to be good.

Agreed! I like this item, but it's a little underwhelming imo.

If you felt I contributed and stuff, can I have a (+1 Rep =3)?

Really good as an early game starting item. Unfortunately there are quite a lot of items that become useless during late-game, but are good for early game. They are rarely ever used.

Tiamat used to be one of my favourite items. It does the same thing Philo does, except + AD, - Gp10.

It'll work for pugstomps, but not for higher elo/experienced players. Most Tiamat builds fall off because everyone has seen 'that one' shyvanna video.

I really wish they'd just remove it so people will stop trying to fit it into builds....
Thanks to Janitsu for the sig!
