Which form is best?
The change to phoenix stance eliminates the need to charge it >.>
Wasn't trying to say Tiger doesn't have burst, because it does....never even implied it wasn't good or viable in the jungle, only pointed out that s3 made it so.
Phoenix you can build full tank and remain a threat in fights, Tiger you have to itemize damage to continue to be a threat. This doesn't make one or the other better or worse overall, it just means they require entirely different playstyles.

I was "brought up" playing
Wingborne Storm, so I like to play what I know. Works incredibly well with me and always has.
Been testing out Tiger for jungle because the claws look INSANE on SGU.
Also want to test it because Berserker is my fav. class in torchlight 2 and tiger stance reminds me of eviscerate so much..

tiger is when your laning top phoenix gives you fast clear time as well as aoe damage in team fights.. so depending on what you want to be for your team you may actually choose either BUT i feel phoenix is the best reason being you spend a lot less time in jungle you clear your camp a bit faster and with the right runes and masteries you can tank turrets and be the tank in your team if your team has no tank, when building phoenix stance udyr i noticed a lot of my items are ap items I do not have a lot of ad damage BUT thanks to tiger stance late game you may actually sell your jungle kit IF they dont have a lot of cc and get some very goof damage items I dont recommend this but if your team needs the damage then its an option
"Tiger is for top" is way outdated. That was from like season 1 iirc
@nameless: The only positive part about phoenix right now is that it has good waveclear. other than that tiger outweighs it in every aspect... damage + sustain + scaling + early game, etc.
Phoenix is playable and works but tiger is just better as of now ._.

Tiger and Phoenix are both different playstyles of Udyr. While you have to get AD to make Tiger effective, Phoenix requires way less damage items (
Wit's End, lol). Means, Tiger Udyr will be more squishy than Phoenix, but deal more damage. So you should choose depending on what your team needs. If your team needs a bruiser, Tiger Udyr should be better. If they need a more tanky bodyguard line, Phoenix is better.
