Generally it's something like:
Tanks/afraid of being invaded/Lee Sin/Counter-jungling - Tracker's Knife
Immobile champs that are not tanks - Stalker's Blade
Strong duelists - Skirmisher's Sabre
Not a fan of Skirmisher's Sabre but it should be used whenever you're going for a larger trade or going to kill someone off.

What is the best jungle route if you plan to gank a lane level 3? I usually go Krugs > Red > Blue > Gank, am I doing this right? Also, if the gank was successful, should I go base or stay and clear the rest of the camps?
EDIT: Is it worth to gank a lane at level 2? It is quite unexpected and might give your team a lead, but not sure if you get the most out of it as a jungler.

The advantage of krugs > red > blue route is being able to gank a lane without having the enemy jungler there. This is good especially if you have weaker 2v2 because the enemy jungler most likely isn't there as krugs > red > wolves > blue is more common route. It's very situational but if you can see let's say enemy top laner shoving ur laner to his turret, I think the red > blue rotation is good because you will more likely be able to pull off a gank.
If you see top lane being equal or your laner is shoving the wave towards enemy turret, you can take wolves > blue > (Gromp?) and then go gank when the lane is in a better position to pull off a gank. Doing wolves before blue buff gets you a level up so you will loose less hp in blue buff so you have more hp to work with.
If you succeed in the gank, you can help your laner to shove the minions to turret if there are few minions left to be cleared but it's not worth taxing many minions by doing this if the enemy top laner has teleport. You can go back to your own jungle to clear the camps if you're healthy enough.
Level 2 gank is always risky. The only time I would do a level 2 gank is if I see a laner being out of position without flash or your laner is strong enough to snowball a lane really hard if the lane is ganked. If you're starting from Gromp for example, ganking bot lane level 2 is really risky and you basically need to get something done if you gank the lane because you will give your position out to enemy jungler who will have the opportunity to steal your remaining buff and you loose a lot of time walking to your next camp.
Ganking mid lane lvl 2 is less riskier but you still give out your position and delay your later levels if you end up not succeeding. All this turns into enemy jungler level advantage who has the option to gank top lane for free if you have just failed a lvl 2 gank mid/bot. Most of the times level 2 gank is not worth I'd say as it's really risky.

Slightly out of context, but I'd argue that the main advantage is to give botlane gromp, which can literally win them the 2v2 alone

Answering any questions related to jungling. I guess one could call this a "jungle AMA". I've been a jungle main in diamond elo for few years now (currently plat 1 because of the reset though) and I'll try my best to answer each question to the best of my ability. Even though this is in the "new player" section, it doesn't restrict anyone asking a question.
