Your game won't count, make sure that your game has been played within the challenge (From February 3rd to 9th) and have beaten the challenge to count.

MVP is the Most Valuable Player chosen by LeagueSpy for every match. It's based on what you've manage to accomplish during the game, for example wards killed or placed, kill streaks, damage to objectives, etc.
The MVP is marked with a star and you can find out who's the MVP by looking at the Match MVP graph as in the image below:
