It's grown on me, but as a hype song it's terrible compared to Worlds Collide and Warriors.

The beginning reminds me heavily of Do I Wanna Know (Arctic Monkeys) and the "Ignite" parts remind me of Firework (Katy Perry). So that's why I like it ^^

I liked the song, just remove those sudden sounds of "intensity" (it's called staccato, right?) on various parts of the song.

No, no, staccato does not mean that. Staccato means to play the notes in a shortened and detached manner.

I would argue that Worlds Collide is not more or less hype-y than this one, it's just as repetitive having listened to it again. Warriors was really good though.

this one was pretty good too.

Gradually getting louder is a crescendo. "Suddenly loud" would be subito forte.
