Not really.
The GeForce card can't physically handle giant renders, where the quadro can.
It's less about speed, and more about bandwidth for Rendering.
Tri lane for life.
Temzilla made it pretty clear. So it's all about the memory size and memory bandwidth then? Or are you talking cache memory and not "normal"?

For the whole graphics vs. processor discussion, I'd like to madly point out that it sucks to have the graphics for the new games, but lagging too much to be able to play it to full satisfaction. I experienced this from both Black Ops and even Skyrim, which I had to go to Medium on to lag a bit less. It wasn't a very big issue with Skyrim though.
Then again: My processor really sucks. While my graphic card goes Skyrim on High and probz more if I had the processor for it. (I expect there is something higher than high?)
My pc is majorly old, but that doesn't change the fact that having the graphics without the speed really sucks. Then again: Great graphics and just enough speed to cut it without any lag is going to be enough.
Black Ops is whenever something happens, and Skyrim is more random o_o
Also: BO lag was never because of internet connection, since first of all, I also lagged in single players, but I have 40 mbit internet, so no probs there.
EDIT: Sorry for going off-topic on current discussion. I just felt I had to say something about the previous one ;o

The problem with normal GPUs is that they render too quickly? wat
I don't understand what makes a normal GPU and a professional (or whatever they're called) so different.
the short version:
normal produces slightly sloppy frames really really fast
professional produces perfect really high quality frames really slow.
