Also sounds almost EXACTLY like my high school, which I've come to realize, I was very lucky to attend. Never REALLY realized how incredibly harsh some high-schools are, in terms of your social status. I guess, In my school, there were really two types of popular kids. 1.) The star athletes, who were popular for that reason. But, I guess they weren't like the stereotypical Jocks you think about. I was friends with some of 'em, and talked to all of them on a day to day basis. 2.) Then there's the other popular kids, that were popular just for the simple fact that everyone liked them. Most of them also played sports, but weren't at the GOD-LIKE TIER that the star athletes were. Like myself, I played football for 4 years, and started all four but wasn't like All-State like a few in my class were. I wouldn't exactly classify myself as "popular", because that just fucking sounds weird and egotistical to me. But yeah, I was very well liked, got along with literally everyone, and just in general enjoyed my high-school experience as much as I could. So, take that as you will.[/quote]
