*Rolls eyes.

The only thing that happened here is everyone knows some masteries are better than others, but some people write them off entirely while others remember they exist and use them situationally.

If you agree with writing them off entirely, you agree with Searz.

If you think there might be a time and a place, you agree with me.

No.
That's sad.

It seems most of what you said in this thread is based off assumptions.

Or your reading comprehension fails YET AGAIN because you snap judged the things I was said because you were grouchy.

Theory crafting is about finding the best of the best stats wise. If you you said. **** IT, every thing is good sometimes, how would it look then?

No theory crafting CAN be about finding "The best" things stat wise.

It can ALSO be about finding functional application for things that not everyone is aware of.

I go back to the same simple example, are armor reds and armor blues effective to cost?

No.

Are they effective in game?

Yes.

And we have arrived at my point. Yes, Honor guard is the same way. Other points may be more cost effective, but if you are aiming to accomplish a specific goal, and Honor guard aids you in accomplishing that, then taking Honor Guard is not necessarily a waste.

Both of you are wrong.

I think some masteries are situational too Duff, but that's not the point of this thread. All we are finding out here is cost efficiency. Whether it's good or not is opinionated and not the point. Some masteries are not cost efficient, but we buy them anyways for the stats.

eg Greed , Wealth etc.

like...

Fighter Jets are not cost efficient, but we buy them anyways because what they do is efficient and we have a demand for that.

Not sure if anyone gets that though...

Which would be a valid thing to consider, but it should be remembered that the cost efficiency of a rune or mastery is actually in practice completely irrelevant to it's functionality.
