I don't see what you're confused by o-o.
Having a lot of builds leaves Ezreal a versatile champion.
Here are some builds
1) You can either go IE PD standard.
2) You can go the blue build (ur q spammer build except replace bt with lizard), which greatly lowers damage (no crits) but gives a lot of cc and true deeps
3) You can go BOTRK Trinity for strong mid game autoattacks.
4) You can go IE BOTRK PD
5) You can go BT Shiv
There r like a billion starts you can go.
In the end most of them default to crits though because provide the most damage output, which is what adcs want.
Gauntlet's not that good either cuz it doesn't give a good damage output

I cannot decide what's best. What would work better on terms of damage/viability/build path.
And tbh, the more I stuff, the more confuzed I get lol :P
Although EI+BOTRK+Shiv could be nice for auto attaking and Shiv proc's on your
Mystic Shot as well.

I absolutely hate botrk rush. Currently I almost always build
Bloodthirster,
Trinity Force,
Last Whisper,
Infinity Edge on Ezreal. I haven't yet properly tried the blue build but I suspect it's not really a solo queue thing.
Statikk Shiv is decent but falls off hard and going for IE PD doesn't really fit Ezreal since he's not much of a lategame autoattacker.

Yeah I guess that make's sence. Although if you team has some good peel you can auto attack somewhat decent because of your passive, but you will have to manage extremely well your mana pool, or you will get mana starved if you dont get at least a mana item in your build.

I feel
Manamune just sacrifices the damage output, the 2% damage is really little, take that you have 2500 mana at level 18. You get just 50 extra damage, plus you have to stack the passive, and it doesn't give you pretty much anything else. You should just take the blue buff, you don't need the extra mana/mana regen.
I think
Guardian Angel or
Banshee's Veil is more viable, you need some sort of survivability since
Ezreal can be focused down hard and die fast.

I think

Iceborn can be really nice in some games, where the enemies keep ending up chasing you and you have to throw Qs behind you to escape. It's honestly a defensive option, though, so you shouldn't consider it an offensive item.
I'm not generally a fan of Tear on Ez. Sheen and Sheen upgrades tend to be enough mana to be effective. Especially if you go Iceborn, that item just provides so much mana.
IE PD builds work fine on Ez, honestly. Just because his kit allows him to do things other than auto doesn't mean that auto-centric builds are bad on him.
I don't play as much Ezreal as I'd like, but when I do I rarely walk into game with a good idea of what I'm going to be doing. Ezreal's build paths are nicely diverse, which allows me to figure out how I'm going to need to operate in fights and with (or without) my team. I've built similarly to the first build (although Zeal is better to build first for Shiv), I've built similarly to the middle two builds, and I pretty much never need the mana that the last build provides; it's too easy to get blue buff.

Iceborn Gauntlet + Q spam is one of the most annoying things in the League. Unless you are
Nocturne you're not going anywhere close to him.

Before starting this thread I took the time to test them both out and I thought I could take some time to post here some build's that I've used on him recently and I hope for some nice feedback :)
Lets begind :)
GGQQGOAWAYNOOB'S build:
Item Sequence
This is a build from a friend of mine that is playing main ADC in solo queue currently on Gold 1.
As he is saying himself, this is a great build for kiting around all those assasins and chasers in solo queue, and it quite easy to piece together. Its not the highest damage build you could have, but defenetly a very trustworthy one.
Item Sequence

Why two builds? Well, tbh rushing a Botrk or not makes a great difference.
First of all, if at your first trip back at base you have more than 1550 gold(fed) its 100 times better to go for B.F Sword instead of some components of the Botrk, because they dont make signficant difference for your kit as B.f does(early B.F=gg). On the other hand, if you don't buy it first it may have to get very delayed since
I like this build a lot because of the damage its capable of pulling out, but you can't kite like a boss as you would with an
Q Spammer build:
Item Sequence
A tournament inspired build, focusing on harassing constantly from distance.
Its not possible to build
Note that both
Still, my feelings are mixed about this one. First of all, you somewhat stop functioning as an AD carry(A.A not doing a thing) and also because if you want to poke stuff there are better characters for this.
These are my 2cents. Sorry for the huge walls of text and my bad english :(
