You should not rush Youmuu's on Talon.
Rushing Brutalizer is good, and Youmuu's is a decent Item on him, but I highly recommend to build a BT afterwards, because the sheer AD you get put you above most other champs due to the good scalings on W and R.
You need some power before building Youmuus, otherwise you cannot really profit from it's steroids.

Duff's build is good, but I would get CDR Boots on Talon. He can reset his AA Timer with Q, that alone makes him a strong AA champ already, also: Lower Ult cd=win.

El Psy Congroo.

Wintermond gets it. Talon scales well with basically two things. Cooldown reduction, and attack damage. The appeal in bloodthirsters is that they can farm up to 90 attack damage. There are multiple ways of building Talon, of course, but I find the most effective way revolves around mobility, and using his abilities, primarily, with hardly any auto attacking involved, aside from his E > Q combo. Because of this, lifesteal and attack speed are very inefficient on him -- with this play style at least. I honestly find that very few complete items are fully cost effective on him. Many base or lower tier items are, however, very good on him. eg: Brutalizer, BF Sword, and Sheen. Sheen, however, only really becomes good after he's already built up a good bit of attack damage. Trinity force is too expensive to even consider, given how indirectly it benefits him. I'd recommend saving it till the very late end game. As for how I would ideally build him, it would probably go something along the lines of this:
either, depending on my needs, 1-3 Doran's Blades,
or, if i feel i can get away with it, a Long Sword
- The Brutalizer
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
- B. F. Sword
- Sheen
- B. F. Sword
Last Whisper
Bloodthirster
Infinity Edge
Youmuu's Ghostblade
Trinity Force
something along those lines, give or take.

It's dumb on Sivir.

That being said, I played a game last night and was WRECKED by a Talon with ArPen bow, four Bloodthirsters and boots.

Ironically, we won thanks to a Sivir pushing their Nexus (We killed both Nexus towers in a good push top lane, mid and bot lane still had two towers each) while we ****ed off mid lane.

My build is something like this: Doran's Blade, The Brutalizer, now Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Sheen, Phage, Trinity Force, Bloodthirster, Last Whisper, and Youmuu's Ghostblade, and probaly a Banshee's Veil

I used to get ghostblade after triforce, but now I think I'll try BT after triforce. I thought ghostblade would be enough, but now...I don't know.

I'd recommend trying a B. F. Sword before Sheen. See if you like it. It'll help your mid game damage out a ton.

Yeah don't build sheen or Triforce or Mallet on Talon, it's essentially a tremendous waste. (As I predicted all along)

Triforce isn't an item I would build when I'm building tons of damage already.

Instead just try to get like 400 AD with a Last Whisper and see how quickly everything goes splat. Just watch your ult + rake combo on 3-4 champs.

Eh, Sheen's not a complete waste. It basically turns your E>Q combo into a miniature nuke. But it's no good if you don't already have a decent bit of AD. Trinity Force, however, is a fatti waste of gold, unless you're completely ridiculously fed and already have 4 or 5 end game items.
Mallet, however, is a --> complete <-- waste on Talon, imo.
I feel there is some end game value to Trinity Force, but really only once you hit the 17k farm mark. Doesn't happen very often. I'd prioritize Bloodthirster, Last Whisper, Infinity Edge, and even Youmuu's Ghostblade over it, just for the 5% extra CDR and flat armor pen.

Holy Toledo, Batman, It's Cho'Gath!
