Blue Ezreal vs. Standard Ezreal Build?

Basically every Ezreal player I have seen lately is going "blue". What are the pro's / con's of the blue build compared the the standard Ezreal build?

    Pros
    + No mana problems
+ Nice pokey pokey with QQ
+ Also deal more damage with E, since it's single target
    + CDR + tankiness
    + Muramana stacked in no-time
    + Great mid-game

    Cons
    - Lack of critical damage
    - Less AA power late game
    - Less MS due to no PD or SS (or TF :P)
    - Basically, late game he can't do **** :P

If you think you can win at 20, go ahead and go blue.
If you think the game will be a bit longer than that, just go standard ADC Ezreal :P

If you went blue how would you build? Like item order and all that.

    A few more pros:

+ Spirit of the Elder Lizard gives increased damaged on jungle creeps, so you get faster objective clears. Also lets you do double golems or wolves quickly when you push lane but don't want to overextend.

    +Great ability to kite.

There is a special system for the veteran rank, I dunno what it exactly is but, we will find out eventually :P

Iceborn Gauntlet + Muramana = kiting and poke, less sustained autoattack damage than traditional ADC builds due to initial lack of crit, but plenty of mana to play around with.

Actually I've never investigated how well the build scales past 3 items, the 4 games that I used this build in all ended before then (went 4-0).

Could be interesting seeing if the scaling drops off drastically or remains comparable.

Although, having said that, I still built Berserker's Greaves out of habit, so not a true blue build. I was gonna trade it for a Zephyr, but game ended, q.q

I actually happened to have to chance to test it out in a mirror match yesterday. The utility that a blue build Ezreal gives is unbelievable. I was kiting for days and playing hide-and-seek with them in their jungle. I could split push with great safety on my own. I was able to prevent enemy chases from my team, use myself as bait and still get away with no problem, even if Lee Sin hit me with his Q or if Pantheon jumped me.

In a straight up 1v2 duel with the enemy Ezreal + Soraka who ran a more conventional build ( Bloodthirster, Phantom Dancer, etc), I won easily because of the increased sustain damage output from Spirit of the Elder Lizard and the active from Blade of the Ruined King.

I suffered a bit early game, but come mid-game as soon as Iceborn Gauntlet was built, the enemy could barely touch me.

The damage on normal Ezreal might be higher, but the utility on blue Ezreal is ridiculous.
