    Rune Page/Build for Thresh/Leona

Hi people. I like playing Thresh/Leona as tanky support, with a decent adc their combos dominate almost any bot lane, and they bring lots of utility/peeling/cc. The problem is that i'm poor in runes, and since they are similar champs, by the moment I would like to have a useful rune page for both (been using AP std rune). I was thinking in 9x Armor Mark, 9x Life Seal, 9x Scaling MR Glyph and 3x Armor/Life Quints. What do you think about them?
Should I change any or perhaps going with Scaling Armor Marks?

What do you think about Relic Shield on THRESH as starter? For some reason I find difficult to last hit with thresh and feel a bit poor with ruby crystal, so I pick ancient coin.

What should I buy on first come back on both champs? Should I rush sighstone or is it ok if I buy coin/relic upgrade+wards+ruby/boots/Rejuvenation Bead?

At mid game I try to sell Nomad's Medallion and get Face of the Mountain (I find more useful it's active), obviously complete sighstone, tier 2 boots, and seek for Iron Solari. I like Face/IronSolari because of their actives (lots of shields for team/adc). Is ok aiming for them first before any other team?

What's better as 5th item on both champs? Perhaps Ice Gauntlet or Frozen Heart? Sunfire Cape? And 6th? Obviously is situational. I don't really like Mikael's because even I have the reflex of making it useful, my adcs don't seem to take advantage.

Finally, what do you think about Braum? Is it smart buying him having alreadyLeona and thresh? Also, as other kind of supp I only have Soraka/Annie. I feel Braum is stronger vs poke duo comps than Leona and thresh and less risky in all ins, but nerfs are killing it's OP-iness on every patch.

    Thanks =)

Leona: Armor marks and quints, HP seals, MR glyphs. 0/16/14 or 0/21/9 work well.
Relic Shield -> targon's brace -> Sightstone -> Mobility Boots -> face of the mountain -> Locket of the Iron Solari -> Randuin's Omen, generally.

Thresh: AD marks, HP seals, MR glyphs, Armor quints. 0/16/14, 0/21/9 or 0/9/21 work well.
Relic Shield or Ruby Crystal start. Start relic to sustain your adc if necessary, finishing face of the mountain later is fine, otherwise you can sell it for talisman of ascension for better engage/disengage for team fights. If you start Ruby Crystal, rush Sightstone and get talisman of ascension later or skip your gold generation item entirely.

Don't underestimate Face of the Mountain. It basically gives an ally a Barrier and the item itself gives you 500 HP, which is far more valuable than the stats from talisman of ascension. The build path is also better. Keep in mind that the execute function doesn't work on Thresh's ranged attacks so it can be difficult to properly last-hit with him.

I don't recommend Ancient Coin start on either champion. It offers very poor early game stats and makes you vulnerable to all-ins. Start Ruby Crystal or Relic Shield and sell the shield if necessary later in the game when you can afford to build most of talisman of ascension.

^General support page. I use this 90% when I am the support

For Thresh I'd probably take AD marks and for Leona they could be armor marks. Other than that I'd follow this rune page.

Relic Shield is imo the best start for Thresh in most cases and it is completely viable.

I usually buy the upgrade for my gold item before getting Sightstone. I usually get the upgrade + Ruby Crystal/ Boots and Stealth Ward and Vision Ward.

Imo talisman of ascension's active is far better than face of the mountain's so I wouldn't change it if I got Nomad's Medallion in the first place. Unless they have many assassins to burst your ADC.

Randuin's Omen and Frozen Heart are both completely viable. Sunfire Aegis isn't really. Iceborn Gauntlet is pretty meh on both imo.

Braum is currently one of the broken champions in the game because he can block projectiles, has tons of CC and survivability with good base stats and low mana costs with super effective abilities which scale well to the late game.

As for Braum, I feel that ever since he came out, Leona has been slowly getting pushed out. Poor Leona.

Janitsu and PsiGuard have great explanations here (obviously, they know their stuff). My general rule of thumb for most supports on first back is this: if you have <800 gold, upgrade your gold item. If you have >800 gold, buy Sightstone and swap to Sweeping Lens. Just my 2 cents on the question.
