It's just that [[Pantheon]], [[Amumu]], and [[Ekko]] kept diving their team while I had to kite from [[Kennen]] and [[Jarvan IV]]. My CSing was terrible in lane. Like, I was shocked at how abysmal I was at CSing. I also couldn't dodge a [[Lucian]] Q or [[Alistar]] combo to save my life. Fortunately, this [[Janna]] was excellent in lane. Out of it was a different story, but she was great at trading with me in lane. I think I could do really well with [[Vayne]] if I brush up on my mechanics, but I don't know. This game was pretty discouraging. The gods looked down upon him, and deemed that it was good." What went well this game ----------------------- Splitpushing. That's about it. [[Cassiopeia]] was on fire early game, but we basically won this game through splitpushing. It turns out, when you don't care about your team but they are competent enough to stay alive, you can take towers. Also, farm! I had a ridiculous amount of gold simply from CS - it was glorious. What went poorly this game/I need to work on ------------------------ I've never even seen an [[Illaoi]] before. I mean, I did build defensively, but man that champion is annoying to lane against. We had basically no teamfight potential and [[Blitzcrank]] kept picking us off. I also basically didn't help the team except with some excessive splitpushing. Fed [[Draven]] also deals a ridiculous amount of damage. Overall, I'm sort of surprised we won this game. Random Thoughts ------------------------------------ What. The. Hell. [[Zz'rot Portal]] has to be one of the most broken items I've ever seen. I should have built this as my first item, not my third. I mean, this thing is so good at pushing down turrets. It truly is insane. Literally won the game with it. Pushed down at least 2 towers with it, and it stuck through and blew up nexus. The Voidspawn are so small and inconspicuous compared to super minions. Also, I'm pretty sure it's been a long time since I've gotten 10 CS a minute. Obviously, I didn't have that at the end of the game, but I was hitting that ratio at one point. I was full build with almost no kill participation. It's super silly how much damage [[Shyvana]] does while still being tanky. I had one damage item this game, and I still dealt a decent amount. Not enough to duel [[Draven]], but definitely enough to 1v1 any of their other champions. Also, 4 Armor items. That was fun. I probably should have built [[Thornmail]] instead of [[Dead Man's Plate]], but it didn't really matter. They're both good items. Not so sure about ADC [[Kindred]]. He seems to work much better in the jungle, and even then he seems sort of mediocre right now. I'm pretty sure this guy also didn't know how to play him well, but it worked out in the end. Eventually, [[Rek'Sai]] decided to help with the Rift Herald and give me that buff. I mean, that just sealed the deal. It was impossible to kill me. They surrendered pretty quickly after 20 minutes. What went poorly/I need to work on -------------------- I got greedy and dove [[Shyvana]] under middle tower. I mean, she died, but it still was unnecessary. I probably could have done a better job CSing. Honestly though, I was more concerned with pushing and getting kills. I was snowballing so hard that we were going to win. Random Thoughts --------------------- For any aspiring [[Mordekaiser]] players, here's a tip. Don't start [[Ruby Crystal]] and proceed to go AD. I don't know what this guy was doing, but he was just building terribly. I think he was going for [[Hextech Gunblade]], but I don't know. I built an early [[Hexdrinker]], which seemed to work fairly well. I'm still not sure whether to build [[Quinn]] as a Tanky AD or as a full fledged ADC. I've seen both work. I mean, I was snowballing this game so ADC was an obvious choice, but I'm not sure how to build her in general. I also started with [[Cull]]. I've been trying it out recently, and it actually scales pretty quickly. 100 minions is not a lot when you are good at farming and pushing. I'm not certain I'll run it bot lane, but it basically translates to 500 extra gold that you aren't wasting on a Doran's item. I wanted a CS and experience lead, which didn't happen, as [[Udyr]] killed me and put me behind. I held onto my summoner spells way too much. There were several places a [[Flash]] could have saved me, and many times I just walked to places instead of using [[Teleport]]. The [[Teleport]] thing isn't terrible, because it could be used to splitpush multiple lanes or to join a fight, but I barely used it at all. Random Thoughts --------------------- So, I started [[Cull]] again. While it worked out all right, I'm not sure about it as a start on [[Shyvana]]. At least, not in this matchup. I feel like either a [[Doran's Shield]] start or possibly a [[Long Sword]] start would have been more appropriate. I'm still trying to figure out how to play against [[Illaoi]]. Her health sustain is ridiculous, but she burns through mana like no tomorrow. Her [[Test of Spirit]] is extremely annoying, and for some reason I always fail to dodge it. I really need to work on CSing. My lord, it is bad. I'm used to ADCs that rush [[B. F. Sword]], not [[Bilgewater Cutlass]]. [[Vayne]] just seems to have a big difference in base damage compared to other ADCs. Also, trading. I need to remind myself that you don't trade with [[Vayne]] by getting two stacks of [[Silver Bolts]] and then [[Tumble]] into an autoattack on a minion. Still have to work on using [[Tumble]] to dodge skill shots. I started getting the hang of it later on in the game, but early game was rough. I probably should have grouped a bit earlier and more often with the team, but in the end, this game was extremely one-sided. I didn't check to make sure my software was recording (hint: it wasn't), so no videos for these. I really have nothing to say. I played like garbage in most, if not all of these, and I don't even remember these games. Writing this after like, a week, because I just decided to stop the raging while I was ahead. I'm considering these a write-off - moving on with my life. Should have some more games (with videos) this weekend.[/quote]
