Being a sometime
Swain player, I'm definitely excited for the is VGU + kit rework.
IMO Riot has been doing a pretty good job when they go full bore with these types of reworks.
That pull off his or an allies CC looks pretty darn useful.
The nearset thing I can think of is
Yasuo's
Last Breath in terms of being reliant on the target being previously CCd.
Vision of Empire seems like it also has a number of uses (which are likely more abuseable in pro play). E.g. scouting out the enemy jungler, vision into the dragon or baron pit, sussing out if the enemy has a set up a bush of death. "Your pathetic attempt at ambush only makes me stronger."
But healer, so good luck with that in a world of
Bramble Vest/
Thornmail,
Morellonomicon, and
Executioner's Calling/
Mortal Reminder,
Ignite, and the various champions with Grievous Wounds built into their kit -
Katarina,
Varus,
Fizz IIRC. I mean I'm okay with having checks and balances in the game, but the prevalence of Grievous Wounds seems like a lot of checks on anyone that relies on healing.

I saved up a Swain champion shard that I thought I would cash in right before the update, but there are so many people trying him out right now, that it isn't even worth trying to compete with that in Champion Select. Looking forward to Irelia's update though.

Ahw, too bad :/ But that's sorta usual, either already banned or picked with new champs or newly updated champs.
