Ultimate Guide to Taliyah MID by @ Drewmatth Taliyah
It's obvious without even looking at the author's name that this is a guide written by a Taliyah main. From the extensive notes in the cheatsheet to the massive amount of matchup information and sheer length of the guide, it's clear that Drewmath Taliyah took this project seriously. Champion specialists are great players to emulate since they'll often have more complete knowledge of the small nuances of the champion's kit and better experience against various matchups, so when you see a guide like this one, you know it's a gold mine for info.

No chapter in this guide is a slacker, so you're bound to learn something useful no matter which subject you're interested in. Matchups are always an easy highlight, but I personally really liked the "Lane/Mid/Late Phase" section. Drewmath condenses these game stages into very simple goals to focus on, which can make it easy to coach yourself by identifying which areas you're struggling in.

Ninetales' Guide to Top Yorick in Season 9 by @ NinetalesOCE
As stated in NinetalesOCE's Yorick guide, this is a champion that's easy to pick up but hard to master. Picking him up is as simple as getting the basic build, combos and playstyle down, but mastering him requires a little more depth of knowledge. Luckily, this guide includes enough info to set you on the path to mastery beyond basic competency.

If you're looking to become a Yorick main, you'll definitely want to read through the Advanced and Expert chapters. As a summon/pet-based champion, it's crucial to understand exactly how Yorick's summons behave in order to use them effectively. Once you understand the principles behind Yorick's Mist Walkers, Maiden of the Mist and Dark Procession, read through to the end of the guide to get a feel for Yorick's different lane matchups, split-pushing and team fighting playstyle. You'll even learn exactly what you need in order to take advantage of Yorick's unique strengths by soloing Baron!

The Unbreakable Spear by @ mberkant
Pantheon is still a fairly simple champion, but his rework brought a little more complexity to both his mechanics and his potential build options. If you're interested in learning the new Pantheon that came out this year, this guide is a good place to pick up the basics and put yourself in a good position to get good practice.

The matchups section is definitely the highlight of this guide, with several very popular top laners accounted for and tips for winning against each champion. Pantheon's laning phase is strong and it's crucial to pressure as much as possible in the early game, so learning these common matchups will give you much better results in your games if you're able to consistently build leads.

If you liked any of these guides, be sure to give the authors a vote and comment with your thoughts! See you again next week. :)
