How does this review work:I'll be going into four 'main' topics: Cheatsheet, Content, Presentation and What can be Improved?. All of these topics alone can turn a great guide into an even better one. Just knowing the ins and outs of your champion alone won't be enough if you're not able to properly convey said information. The end goal is always to make it easier for the readers that come to your guide of course.I'll specify these main categories with purple text within this review, as well as some subcategories which will mostly depend on your guide chapters and for that I'll use the following rating system:

Cheatsheet

>Runes: Adequate

Your notes are already very extensive, might be a good idea to explain a bit more within the notes during which team comp/jungler it's advised to run Conqueror as this does not necessarily become quite clear.

For Lethal Tempo you mention it's a good page vs melee matchups, yet you also mention that Phase Rush and its page is good against olaf and trundle, these 2 are also melee matchups, so which one is it? Is Phase only good vs these very few champions or does it have other uses?

You have great explanations for almost all options to run with, whether it be tank or against melee champions, but what if you're against ranged matchups? Does the rune page ever change, or is it just the standard one? This can be explained.

>Summoner Spells: Adequate

I personally dislike that you refer readers to go further down to find information about the pets. This in my personal opinion can easily be explained in around 1-2 sentences and doesn't hurt the overall length of the notes or make them too overbearing to read. Remember that readers often tend to not check the rest of your guide all at once. Typically they check your cheatsheet first before their games, afterwards if they enjoyed your guide, they'll come back to read the rest you have to offer.

The distinction between Flash + Gustwalker Smite and Flash + Mosstomper Smite is pretty much non-existant. You explain that Flash is good, which is fine. But nothing is explained for the choice of pet spell, nor why me as the reader should pick either one. Me for example, as someone who does not play Skarner, which spell should I pick here? Which one is better against what? This can also be explained even if briefly.

The final spell choice for Ghost + Mosstomper Smite has a detailed description. You explain the purpose of why Ghost is useful to pick and when (with the exclusion of the green smite you can include as well). You explain this one well which I like, but why wasn't this present for the other 2?

Here you explain the purpose between the 2 smite options a lot better. Why was this not put in before? I believe if you just take your descriptions for these 2 options, make them smaller and more concise, you'll already have 2 descriptions to work with that aren't too long, but still explain the purpose.

You mention that Ionian Boots of Lucidity rush isn't optimal anymore, but can still be bought after your 1st item (making it still a semi rush). You also mention that these boots fall off the longer the game stalls. If the boots aren't worth buying early on, and aren't worth keeping later on, these boots (to me) seems like an entirely worthless pick?

Your descriptions for Plated Steelcaps and Mercury's Treads are good. Can also explain that Plated is good vs heavy auto attackers (e.g. Yasuo / Yone) due to the AA reducing passive and Mercury's are good against team comps with heavy CC (so not just against AP users).

Can explain 'why' Boots of Swiftness are good precisely towards Rylai users. It's obvious to notice that Rylai's Crystal Scepter is good against slowing targets down with every single attack, whilst swifties are good at reducing said slow to make it less effective towards you. However, this wasn't explained.

Terrible use of notes for your core itemization - again do not force readers to go further down your guide to get what they were initially looking for, they won't. Instead explain briefly the purpose of why this is the core (you can still explain it more within the guide later), these are why notes are here.

Same thing for your mythic options - me as a reader have absolutely 0 clue what I should be buying and when I should buy it. All I'm seeing are 5 mythic options and confusion. You explain way better the "WHY" for the build or item pick when it comes to your example builds, so why not here?

Heartsteel is used for an example build, however the mythic is not present with your "mythic options" - why?

Note: Your example builds have a total of 5 items, any regular full build has a total of 6 items (including boots), would be good to include these, even if it ends up being the same boot options for all builds, it's still good to show.

Note: Ideally you can put in a few more potential synergies (I believe there are a lot more than only 11) otherwise it's fine.

I enjoy the way you've structured up this section already. Ideally you could also include some colors that fit Skarner just to make it pop out more (rather than having light blue colors here that doesn't really match with him at all.

Can also attempt to make a few of the longer sentences for the pros/cons a bit more concise to not create a gap between each + if you understand what I mean (e.g. "Incredibly high itemization diversity" can literally just be "High itemization diversity" - it's nothing insane about it per say). This makes each point in the code shorter and it just overall looks better.

You can also change the icons to something more new, rather than these. These 2 icons you have for Pros and Cons respectively are pretty old (I believe even some newer used ones that don't date back to like season 7, or just any of skarner's ability icons could be much better fits here personally).

Makes it more pleasing to see. The colors and icons that I've chosen are entirely optional (and others can be used as well), this is just an example.

>Runes: Adequate

Nowhere within this section is there any mentions of Nimbus Cloak - though every other rune from this tree is talked about and explained why it's useful. If this rune is shown at the top as a "must take" together with Phase Rush, it should be explained why this is the case.

Last Stand is mentioned here but nowhere whatsoever within the cheatsheet. Optionally you can include it within your notes as an alternative to the other Precision secondaries you run for Conqueror and Lethal Tempo - these are again what notes are for after all.

Aftershock as an entire rune page (aside from Conditioning), is not even remotely mentioned here. You don't talk at all about this keystone, nor about its lesser runes (e.g. Shield Bash, Unflinching, Magical Footwear and Approach Velocity). In your cheatsheet you mention that you've been running this page a lot and it works well. Shouldn't this then be explained a little more in detail here just like Conq and Phase if it's apparently almost as important as these other rune pages?

You mention and talk about Bone Plating, this is also not present at all in your cheatsheet - can also be included within the notes for whichever rune page it fits for.

>Summoner Spells: Adequate

No mentions whatsoever for the different uses that Mosstomper Smite and Gustwalker Smite has - only about the basic spells. These are the 2 most important spells for the jungle role as a whole, I believe personally that they should be explored a bit when you're a jungler.

>Skill Path: Decent

Again here, now you are referring people back towards the top - after just referring people back down below for other areas of your guide. This is incredibly messy. Just explain why each order is good, why Q max is good for one thing and E max is good for another (it pretty much fits within the same amount of sentences you used to refer people back to the cheatsheet).

>Itemization, step by step: Adequate

I think this section overall is the cleanest out of the entire guide, however there are a couple things to mention:

Health Potion, Stealth Ward, Control Ward, Oracle Lens, Mosstomper Seedling and Gustwalker Hatchling are all items that can be explained before the core first back explanations like Bami's start. These are your first items after all.

No mention in the slightest about Boots of Swiftness - even though it's present within the cheatsheet.

Apparently the "core items" also includes Hearthbound Axe and Bami's Cinder - which is also not present in the cheatsheet, but is explained here.

Heartsteel as a mythic is not once mentioned here (apart from Bami's, but it's not a standalone description for some reason).

Sunfire Aegis is apparently talked and explained here? If the item is in such a good state at the moment, why is it completely non-existant within the cheatsheet (doesn't even have an example build)?

Silvermere Dawn, Thornmail, Dark Seal, Mejai's Soulstealer, Cosmic Drive and Turbo Chemtank are all items spoken and explained within this section - however, are not present at all in your cheatsheet. I think these would be good to explain since they seem important.

I believe you should entirely remove this section, it feels useless. Keep all your clips and try to incorporate them into your other sections (such as for early- mid- or late game stages) instead. Then follow up with some detailed explanations of what happens in each clip, what is it good for, and most importantly what can the reader learn from this clip/explanation. If the reader doesn't learn anything, the clip isn't doing very much.

If you really want to keep your pentakill clips, you can opt to place them (and center them like I mentioned few times before) at the end of your guide with your closing statements - as those clips are purely mere achievements in my opinion, rather than something that is teaching the reader.

>For fun: skins tier-list: Exquisite

Note: While the section is completely fine, I am personally not a big fan of skin tier lists. It only really serves as padding to make the guide slightly longer and doesn't offer any valuable information to the reader. I'll let you decide though if you want to keep it or remove it but that's my take on this section.

Presentation

If there's one thing I'd say about your guide that I feel like you can improve on, it'll definitely be this. I know very well that making use of BBCode can be a very tedious task in of itself to make use of or just to be able to get familiar with in general, but when it comes to presentation, making use of some more code can really make your guide become more alive, so to say.

Here are a few coding guides that we already have on the site that could help you if you'd be willing to dedicate some of your time to learning it (or if you just want some quick templates to make your guide look a bit more tidy):

- Making A Guide (has lots of free to use templates)
- BBCode Guide (the actual bbcode guide if you'd want to know how different codes work)
- A Table Coding Guide (talks about the bbcode that is called tables)
- Responsive Columns (talks about responsive columns; mainly for mobile side coding)

Your guide is also riddled with some spelling mistakes (though not that many). I would recommend to check your spelling, or alternatively you can use sites that help you accomplish this goal e.g. Google Documents / Microsoft Word.

>Theme of guide (color scheme): Will need a lot of work

I feel like having a bit of a color theme would go a long way for any guide. This will be especially clear if you were to incorporate some BBCode for your sections. When I say the word 'color theme' I mean using colors that best represents the champion & guide you're trying to make. For example, you're currently using the "Battlecast Alpha" skin, which means that a good color theme to have could be e.g. Red to fit with the skin. If you were to not use a skin and only the base one, Purple/Blue would be a very nice combination with that one and so forth.

What can be Improved?

Making guides more extensive takes a very long time and a lot of dedication, but if you want to spend more time making your guide more informative try to explain more topics such as:

- How to play around objectives
- Explaining the actual jungle matchup - it always varies, it's never the same playstyle no matter what
- How to Gank
- Vision
- Combos?
- More advanced descriptions of the routes (could use BBCode here) to make it clearer
- Vertical Jungling, it exists, how do you do it and why
- What are plants and what do they help with
- Wave Management - junglers have them too not just laners (Pushing, Holding & Taxing)
- Lane Priority
- How does counter-jungling or invading work
- Tracking the enemy jungler - it's a good skill to have
- Potential win cons - if any, again objectives play a good part here

These topics can all be useful topics to explain, and of course there can be multiple more I haven't mentioned that you can talk about when it comes to Jungle as a role, but I feel like these are some of the more important ones to consider.

Overall Thoughts

For your only guide you've made, it's very pleasing. I am impressed with the information a lot and it's quite solid. Like mentioned already, if you fix up some sections a little bit more and work more on the presentation aspect of your guide, it can definitely become a solid source for players looking to pick up Skarner. I hope this review is of help. :)
