Personally, I think the number should be 35~50ish at least.
20~30 is where the rating can still drop 2~5% because of a single downvote.

The thing is that... look at the guides... how many of them exceed the number of 20 votes?
Go browse this:

And see how many votes those new guides get... ALSO go even to page no. 20-30 and see for yourself.
a BIG majority do not even go past 10!

Well, a lot of guides are that low because they're not that good anyway.
20's a good start I suppose, but the place I'm trying to hit at is guides that end up on the top 10 monthly list.
Those guides generally have at least 30 votes, with the exception of guides that a purely positive rating.
While guides that don't get on there can often hover around 10~30 votes and could still use the C2V protection.

people dont realise just how trolls work/vote, i dont like this idea :/ 20 votes, now i can finally downvote cus im jelly, tell me when voting is alterd again, shutting down
If the guide is good enaugh that is making ppl jaleous... well you win anyway. If you look for perfect scores and only count on that, you loose, coz there always be trolls no matter how the system will look like. Troll will always find a way to trolololol your build.
There are plenty of examples of guides that perform very well despite the change. That alone is proof enough. Even different guides from the same author and same champion - some doing fine, some not so much, because people in general find one more useful than the other.
As I've said before, you need to just let go. The score is there for rank, not ego. If you don't have 100% but you're still top rank, does it really matter? No, just vanity.
