I'm trying to remember an example, but basically making the icons fill more of the area, making the background more aesthetically pleasing, and making the lines more defined, more colorful, and more professional looking overall.
Basically, make this item path look like it was done with photoshop by an experienced graphics artist, not a n00b with paint :P
EDIT: Match the lines with the colors from this chapter. i.e. the red line going from doran's blade to berserker's greaves, make closer to the single doran's blade text. leave every unmentioned line the same color.

I used item paths in my guide as well.
My old item path:

Do you prefer the first or the last?
In the first pic it'll pretty much look like the one you made.
If you prefer the second pic I can make the item borders match the colours you want. For example, your catalyst is on the orange path and the BV is on the green path, so I would make the item borders orange/green.
Btw, regarding your items, LW > BC. BC will only reach it's full potential on the 4th hit, while LW provides 40% arpen from the start. Even if the target has less than 150 armor the black cleaver will only deal more dmg than LW if you hit the enemy more than 7 times.

However, as you can see, it's not visually appealing in any respect. So, can one of you create an image similar to this, but that looks better? The item paths and colors between the items must stay the same, but feel free to mix it up with anything else!
