Brutalizer seems good on him. Giving CDR and AD building into a very decent item for him. You don't want to be building too tanky. Something like just Thornmail and maybe throwing in an Atma's impaler since you'r building so many health items and it works nicely with your ult.

Renekton should be played tanky dps not tank or dps. If he goes tanky then he does little damage, if you go dps he is squishy. His core should be Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Youmuu's Ghostblade, and Spirit Visage. These items will give you max CDR which is useful on Renekton since most of his damage comes from his skills. Ghostblade gives you some damage and an active to use when your skills are on cooldown. Spirit Visage will make you a little tankier plus help you heal more from your lifesteal which lets you stay longer in the fight.
Other items you can get on him are; Frozen Mallet, Black Cleaver, Sunfire Aegis, Trinity Force(even though it gives mana you'll still do a lot of damage if you attack after every spell casted, I.E. q->attack,e->attack,w [already attacks],r->attack.), Aegis of the Legion, Bloodthirster, Atma's Impaler.
As you can see, there are a lot of different items you can get, try different combinations out and see what suits your play style best. Also, it's a team game, 3/2/16 is a good score, don't fret over kills.

^well, fury W is very nice for high damage + longer stun, but fury Q is good too when ur low for more healing, and E if you need to chase/gtfo easier

I like to start Philosopher's stone( Regrowth Pendant and Health Potion) for the $$(don't really care about mana when it's cheapest gold/10) and the harassing with q that keeps me going even if they poke at me. Don't go toe to toe, only harass with your spells and make sure you can get out with dice and that Philo stone will do it's job nicely.
I don't worry too much about getting cdr on him. For my play style he doesn't really need it, at least not Ionian Boots of Lucidity.
If they are AD heavy things are going to go good for you.
Sunfire Aegis and Atma's Impaler and you should be able to dominate. Boots of Swiftness works nice with this too because sunfire impaler is so strong you can afford to get movespeed.
If they are AP I like to get a Hexdrinker and Mercury's Treads and Spirit Visage.
Zeke's Harbinger is another item I like on Renekton. Since I like to babysit ad carries it basically means both of us are as scary as can be. Renekton's damage from his abilities is high and benefits greatly from armor reduction/penetration and the life steal/attack speed gives more sustainability.
For runes I Like to go 25 armor pen from marks and quints and some attack speed/armor seals(I literally have half and half) some armor in there and the glyphs I just make magic resistance because Renekton doesn't build magic resistance very well because he needs to get attack damage and armor penetration to be anything scary.
Black Cleaver Another good item to get.
The Brutalizer It's a good item but I am not really dependent on it becuase it doesn't offer sustainability or survivability for it's cost-- Renekton benefits a lot from sustainability because he never needs to go back for mana and can use his spells to farm where he wants.
My masteries are the same 9-21-0 as Evil Inside's.
I run Flash and Ignite because I like to surprise people with woop.

Here's what I usually do, I go with Doran's shield,ionian boots,the first mallet that leads to frozen mallet, and heart of gold. ONce I do this, I usually transition into thornmail and sunfire cape to shut down the carries. But what I find so troubling is all my utility effects(Thornmail feedback, sunfire passive) do more damage than my actual attacks. Yet if I go with an early bf sword, it ruins my whole game because I can't deal enough damage.
So my question is, what other fun utility items could I use on renekton? I bored of this combo and am tired of getting scores like 3/2/16. >.>
