Yes, having a good guide helps, but it's only one of the many factors.

Exactly, just look at the list I made, almost every vet has at least one...you don't NEED a guide, you just really need to be active and helpful, but it sure helps.
And as I said, if you have a really deserving guide and it doesn't get noticed, which happens some times, PM me or another vet, I'll have a look at it and recommend it if it truly deserves it :)

btw, I took a look at your Garen guide, some critcism:
-sooo messy, too many colors and TOO much coding.
-3rd build, you get Brutalizer last and Youmuu 2nd to last...lol.
