No, that's worse in this case. Only the waves from phoenix stance are affected by spell vamp.

Doesn't the proc from Phoenix activate lifesteal since it's onhit?
"Life steal is an offensive stat that converts a percentage of the damage dealt by a champion's autoattack (and abilites that proc on-hit effects as noted below) to health. Life steal is calculated from the actual damage done to an enemy, after armor reduction."
I kind of don't think so. that hinges on what they consider the 'actual damage done to an enemy' to be though. time for more digging.
Well, Lifesteal proc's on
Nasus
Siphoning Strike or
Gangplanks
Parrrley.
Idk if it procs, but if it is a on-hit, it proc's it.
Well, but
Wriggle's Lantern's proc doesn't proc it, because it is magic dmg.

Well, but
Edit, clarification: The phoenix passive procs an effect from an auto attack. I feel it acts in similar fashion to say... gangplanks

Keep in mind that spell vamp isn't on magic damage, it's on SPELLS, regardless of damage type.
