In some very rare cases your skill actually has an effect on the game but well, there is only 1 you and there are 4 teammates. It is all up to luck whether they suck or not ;)

Kayle should be built as a tanky sustained AD carry or straight ad carry, not a trinity tank, or god forbid, a glass cannon with trinity force...

No, that doesn't even make sense. I can stomp my top lane, go 5/0 on my opponent, disturb their jungler, take their buffs and help with dragons or I can feed my lane 0/2, sit top lane and just sit there farming. Skill is the one factor with the most influence on the outcome of a game.

Exactly, and that luck annuls, it really has very little influence on your total elo. Even if you get carried to an elo that is out of your league, you will eventually drop due to your lack of skill.

Q is actually a much bigger impact on your damage, you aren't going to be trading for 10 second periods of time, so E is a lot less damage than Q.
If you are all-in'ing and just killing your lane, then E is the better choice, but Q is stronger for trades.
You get W at 4 for the speed boost.

But, that does not mean that your individual player skill will not have effect on your Elo. That's dumb to even think something like that.
Also, although I'm not sure I agree with Temzilla on your "******ed items", it is a good suggestion to make sure you build the right things.. I mean, we only played together a few games and I already saw you rush a
