Profile Setup - MOBAFire How To Series

Looks like I have this nifty toolbar in the top right of my screen, let's check that out. Don't smile at me like that Tibbers! Let's get away from this creepy Tibbers by clicking on the "View Profile" button. [center][img]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-9.jpg[/img][/center] Looks like this is my Profile. Wait, this Tibbers is still here?! Is this my avatar; how I am representing myself? First order of business is to change that right away! I recall there being some other options when I moused over the cog on my toolbar... [center][img]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-5.jpg[/img][/center] Excellent! Looks like I can change my profile by clicking this "Edit Profile" button. Let's do that. [center][img]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-10.jpg[/img][/center] So now I'm at my "Edit Profile" page. Looks like my avatar settings are right here, awesome! After looking through the avatar options I've decided to go with this sexy Tempest Janna art. Now I just have to click the "Update" button to show off my new avatar. Still, it just doesn't feel like "me." I'd like to use my own avatar! Let's click on these custom avatar instructions in the bottom right of the Edit Profile page. [center][img height=225]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-12.jpg[/img][/center] Alright seems as though this "Matt" guy has made some instructions for us. His name is in red and it inspires respect in me. I guess I should really listen to what this guy has to say! Looks like we have to go to Gravatar's Website to actually set this up, so let's click on this link Matt so kindly left for us. [center][img]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-13.jpg[/img][/center] Hey it's Matt! Oh wait I think he's a different Matt... What's up with all these Matt's? Anyways, I'll just put my email in this box and click the "Get Your Gravatar" button. [center][img height=400]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-15-2.jpg[/img][/center] Now I'll just go to my email and verify my account. When I click on the link in my email I am brought back to this screen. I just have to select my Gravatar name and my password and I'm good to go! Don't worry if this isn't the same as your MOBAFire name, it is unrelated. :) Just make sure the email you signed up with is the same! [center][img height=300]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-16.jpg[/img][/center] Looks like I'm officially signed into Gravatar! Let's check out the "Manage My Gravatars" option that's in the drop down list in the top right. [center][img height=300]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-17.jpg[/img][/center] Next I'll click on this "Add one by clicking here!" link, seems pretty straightforward. [center][img height=225]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-19.jpg[/img][/center] I'll browse my hard drive for the picture I want, since I of course save all the pictures I love! I guess you could do the other stuff too... if you really want to... I'll pick my awesome bull terrier picture, because their faces are too awesome! [center][img height=300]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-22.jpg[/img][/center] Now I'll just crop it to the right size, choose its rating (You can have explicit avatars?! I don't think MOBAFire would appreciate that too much though...) and then it's ready to use! I just have to select it. Now let's go back to MOBAFire! I was supposed to listen to that Matt guy, and he said to select the MOBAFire logo if I wanted to use my Gravatar! I'll do that then, and hit the update button. Stupid piece of... oh wait, there's my avatar in the list! :D Let's select my custom avatar that's now appearing instead of the mobafire logo, and hit that update button again. [center][img height=350]http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/esports/mobafire-series/profile-25.jpg[/img][/center] Ah... and all is right with the world! Now this is how to represent yourself! I'll put in my website so people can follow my other internet adventures, my summoner name so that people can add me to friends once they realize how awesome I am, and of course my summoner level and ELO so everyone knows I'm pro. Let's check out the "More Info" tab. Looks like I can fill out some info so that people looking for others to play with have an idea of where and what I play, awesome! I'll just fill this stuff out so everybody can know I'm special because I play AP Ezreal, and then I won't forget to hit the update button! Looks like I can fill this out with a little blurb about myself; now people looking at my profile can know more about me! Well, I've said all that needs to be said, let's update and go back to the main Edit Profile page. Looks like I can click this button with my name in the top right of my screen to go back to my Profile Page. Also, all the information I just entered is displaying below my avatar, neat! Now if someone looks at my profile they can see how awesome I am.
