Not sure if it's because I use Chrome, but it's been like that ever since the new toolbars were introduced.

Regarding articles, it's tough to balance. It all lines up in our staging environment but, that's showing a different set of articles that are different lengths. We'll tweak it and see if we can get it a little closer :)
That layout error is odd, I don't get that in Chrome or in Firefox. We'll take a look and see what we can do to widen the space, obviously that last icon is wrapping. What version of Chrome are you running?

- The guides under, "High ELO Authors" are only staying on 5 guides. They should be refreshing, I assume, so that all guides under high ELO players can be showing up. Not sure if it was intended for it to stay as 5 for a week, a day, I have no clue.
- What happened to the featured guides that were there before the update, did they all get unfeatured? o_o

It has been a while since I updated everyone on MOBAFire's progress. We've been rather heads-down lately cranking out features and bringing new content to you. I'm here to point out some of the things that have changed on MOBAFire over the last while, including a very big update that we just released today! This is going to be a long one so, you might want to grab a coffee.

Our Team, It Grows!
The MOBAFire team has been growing over the last several months. You may have seen the job postings, well the most recent additions to the team are here! Jamie has joined us as a PHP developer, and Trevor has joined us as a Designer. They are already hard at work and gearing up rapidly! Welcome aboard guys!!
Site Redesign
FlashJ has been working tirelessly to put together a new "skin" for the site. Right now, this is mainly visible in the background and border of the overall site. He is laying the ground work for a full site-wide facelift. While the layouts you are familiar with will not generally be changing, the look and feel will be getting a fresh coat of paint! Now that the ground work is in, we will be going through the site page by page updating everything to match the new theme. We hope you will all like the changes! I personally love the new look and can't wait to see it spread through the site :)
Homepage Redesign
MOBAFire is constantly evolving, and we have been bringing a lot of new features and content to the site. We decided it was time to update the homepage to bring some of this content forward! The new homepage is less busy than the previous one and is geared towards highlighting both the daily activity on the site as well as some of the new eSports and pro content that we've been bringing in for you guys. This page is also still a work in progress, we have a number of features still to come, but we hope you will like the new layout! I'm going to discuss a few of the new changes :)
The guide box now focuses primarily on new guides, with a separate list for new guides written by high Elo authors. We're testing the waters with this, so let us know what you think!
We have redesigned the features for our guest guide writers and our Razer Academy video guides. You can see guides and streams from Azubu Blaze and Azubu Frost, and there is more to come! The Razer Academy box will also be updating weekly with new video guides by the pros, starting off with a Leona guide from CLG's Krepo. If you haven't already, make sure you go check it out, and watch for new videos!
Hint: A new Razer Academy pro video guide will be up VERY soon, and MOBAFire will have it first!!Told you so!The news section now shows Riot, eSports Central and MOBAFire news blended together so it's easier to keep track of what's new. Each article also has visual cues that indicate the source of the article so you can quickly tell which ones are for official news or eSports.
Build Search
This feature has actually been up on the site for a while now but we held off on officially announcing it. You can now search for guides by build! Head on over to the new build search page and give it a go!
You can select a champion, various build options, and search for any guides matching your build. This can help you to more easily find guides that match a preferred play style or set of gear.
Embed Quick Builds
This build search page offers yet more! You will see a button there labelled "Embed Link". If you select some build components and hit this button, you will be given a link and a block of bbcode. You can paste this bbcode anywhere on MOBAFire (in your guides, in comments, forum threads) and your build will be embedded with a very nice, streamlined display that shows all the items and gear with links and tooltips, along with a button to quickly find guides that use this build. It's pretty powerful and we look forward to seeing how you guys make use of it! As an example, here is Krepo's Leona build embedded using this new tool!

Fresh Pro Builds
That is not all though! You may notice on the homepage, a new box titled "Recent eSports Builds". Our eSports reporters can now post and attach builds to articles, teams, players, leagues and tournaments. These are builds used by the pros, in pro competition, put in context in our articles, guides, videos and streams, hot off the presses! We have a lot of plans for this feature going forward, we hope you guys will enjoy it! You can see some examples of builds embedded in our eSports articles here. New pro builds will be added regularly so keep an eye out for them!
Elo Verification
So, where are we getting those high Elo guides from? Our new Elo verification system! This system is still considered to be in beta, and we are still working out some kinks, but if you head over to your edit profile page you will see some new fields! You can fill in your solo, 3s and 5s Elo rankings and then follow the instructions to have your Elo verified by a Veteran, Mod or Admin. Once verified, you will have your Elo rank displayed next to your name and your guides with a Gold, Platinum or Diamond icon! We may open this up to more ranks in the future but for now Gold is the minimum rank to be verified. We're interested in your feedback on this system!
What Else??
Those are all the main features that are new at the moment! However, we have a few surprises that are already in the pipeline for the next couple weeks so look forward to that! Hint, hint :)

Well, I could keep going! For a while, I was doing "MOBAFire Patch Notes" posts. I haven't done a patch post for a long time, so I thought I'd toss some notes up here so you can see a little bit of what is happening behind the scenes :) This isn't going alllll the way back to my last patch post, these are just recent updates but hopefully some of you find it fun to read! Some of these are very minor changes but, details matter :)

-added recipes to item database pages with tooltips and links
-fixed "log in" link at the top right not properly returning you to the page you were on
-add additional server choices when editing profiles (br, ch, kr and tr)
-fixed item recipes not showing properly in tooltips
-fixed wiki category pages and menus including deleted articles
-fixed wiki articles with extra long titles not always saving properly
-updated artwork for many older champions
-added map, lane and role options to guide editor in preparation for upcoming feature
