New players never read guides or what?

Well, to be honest I'm fairly new too as you can see I just registered on the forum today and I'm only at level 14 in the game. However I've spent like a whole week to play against bots (mostly intermediate), watch gameplays and last but at not least READ GUIDES.. I did it because I just wouldn't have liked to s*ck in PvP and be "the noob".

But I'm really really pissed right now. I just started to play PvP matches like a few days ago and realized most of the players do not even know their role in team fights or what items to buy. They just run into the enemies and of course die. Which means the other team will be fed enough very soon and the whole game is just f*cked up. Sometimes if I go with a tank or AD carry I can help on it in late game destroying the inhibitars alone but 9 games out of 10 end up with defeat. And then I feel like I just wasted another 40-50 minutes because they do not even realize they s*ck so surrender is not an option.

Any suggestion? I love this game but theese dumbass mofos just driving me crazy all the time.

a) Play more bots to chill now and then;

b) Take it like a man, there'll be bad players even on level 30, such as AD Carries initiating on CC tanks, greedy folks, people with weird items, etc;

c) Try befriending people you like on the way and play with those people;

Of course there will always be low players. But how could we help them if they refuse to communicate and call YOU noob cuz trying to be a nice person. Playing against bots it's not an option for me as I prefere PvP. I only return to bots when I'd like to practice smart cast or try out a new build, etc.

As I mentioned that the biggest problem is they do not surrender and I have to be in the party for 40-50 minutes. If I did DC/AFK then I'd be reported for sure (many times) hence ban!

There really isn't anything else to say other than what Falseo said. Hang out with bots and stomp on some ******s if you get frustrated. Get used to bad players (you will see them NO MATTER HOW HIGH OF A RANKING YOU GET). It just HAPPENS. We all get frustrated at the guy that thinks the best way to counter a Cho'Gath is to build armor and he WILL NOT listen when everyone tells him that 80% of his damage is magic based. And probably most important of all, don't be afraid to friend the people that did well (even if they are on the enemy team). At early levels most people will be more than happy to accept a friend request, then q with, someone from the opposing team as long as they haven't been raging in allchat and in general making an *** of himself. Crack a joke. Compliment them on a good play. A compliment or two passed between teams can make a HUGE difference on how much you enjoy your time playing.

So, to summarize,

1) Cool your jets on Bots when you get frustrated
2) Get used to bad players and just take it in stride, Tards will never EVER go away
3) Friend ANYONE that does well, even if it's on the enemy team, and play with them later. A full party of 5 compitent people with good communication skills is a powerful thing. Even having just one other person on your team you can count on can let you dominate games.

Hope this helped XD

I agree with #3, best way to get better is to surround yourself with 4 other people with Skype also looking to get better.

Also, stop playing vs bots. You don't learn much.

Find premades - that's pretty much the consensus here.

Just play PVP. Even if you lose, you learn something new.

Also, pick a champ to faceroll the enemy with, like a competent Tryndamere always facerolls the enemy team at low level. Playing Darius will make the little kiddies think you're God. And of course, Master Yi...

Easier said than done. I've been playing for 2 years and I still don't have a team or a regular group of friends. It really sucks.

^Well, one thing I did was just be friendly in games. Soemtimes you'd reandomly get this guy as a friend, then his skype, and all of a sudden you've got a premade. It isn't always on a schedule though :\.

Anyways, guys really said it all. Keep cool, refrain from raging, and find some friends/premades.

Thanks to jhoijhoi and LaCorpse for the amazing sigs!

Thank you guys for all of your comments. Appreciate it!

I prefer playing with Dr. Mundo and he also never dies. Okay sometimes he does :D Actually I also love playing with Morgana, very good farmer and his ulti is insane (against low lvl ppl) but if my team mates are not that good of course I cannot go alone and destroy inhibitars. I would really like to practice with Malzahar but he is extremely squishy and as most of the ppl never call MIA I only use him against bots.

But my favourite is Zilean :) Obviously I have to find a group for him. Last time I chose him I had to go solo top (against Darius and Lux) cuz my team refused to come top and told me he is OP :D Of course everytime I died they called me noob :D

Zilean is either a support or a mid champ. He is not OP but definitely very powerful when used in a group that knows how to take advantage of his immense utility toolkit. For early levels it is best if you get a snowball champ (a couple that come to mind is Master Yi and Tryndamere, they roflstomp low levels like crazy) and basically go ahead and backdoor all day long while your teammates are busy keeping the enemy team busy. You want to win solo? Pick mele AD champs that do tremendous damage and can go after the base by themselves. The single best structure destroyer in the game is Master Yi. Most champs can only auto attack the turrets (a select few have abilities that effect turrets, like Talon and Noxian Diplomacy), but the thing that makes master yi so great at it is he has 2 abilities that crank the hell out of his auto attacks ( Wuju Style and Highlander). He can take out a full health turret in 5-10 seconds, inhibs faster than that, at full build, and he is REALLY easy to snowball. People call him a noob champ, but if you want to win so bad and have zero faith in your teammates, playing backdoor yi will let you do it.

Berserker's Greaves
Wriggle's Lantern
Bloodthirster
Frozen Mallet
Phantom Dancer
Infinity Edge

Is the generic build to use. Gives wards through wiggles (which almost no one else on your team will get) and a stupid amount of lifesteal, which makes you much more survivable, especially with the health from mallet. Its a pretty general AD build and will stay viable up until S3, at which point other builds might become more useful, depending on the items and situations. Alternate between Alpha Strike and Wuju Style, grabbing Highlander at the usual levels 6,11, and 16, and totally ignore Meditate until you absolutely HAVE to get it at lvl 13 I believe. Unless you are going for dunkmaster AP yi (which you arent if you want to backdoor the enemy team to win) its not really that useful and uses alot of mana for not alot of health regen.

Hope this helps.
