I find your comment unfair. Implementing changes or remodeling systems isn't always as easy as "this idea is good and now it's done", there are consequences to each system that must be thought out, or we may end up with some problem we didn't consider and that is as bad as/worse than the previous one.
Thats why I said "...or they simple have no time..." implying that it's not completely their fault.
But even so:
Do you know that there even are ANY changes under discussion?
How much time has past since the last change?
Did that Scout system thing really help out or was it even more damaging than before?
That's why IMO I had a very realistic choice of words.

To be completely and brutally honest, I think that Matt and Flash are making the site grow by adding new things every other day. Skin previewer, MobaFireTV, eSports Central... BUT, I wish with all my heart of hearts that they dropped back down to what this site originally was, a guide site, and fix some of the problems that lay at the heart of their site instead of trying to expand it. It's like building a house, if the foundations are rotten, the building will collapse sooner or later.
If the Scout Discussion Tab and Comment to Scout were implemented, there'd be a huge improvement to the Scouting system and thus Featured Guides in turn removing sight from "bad" top guides.

The builder overhaul was a recent addition and greatly improved the quality of life for our authors. Why does no one mention this change? We also recently added -scouting and are working with the scouts to improve the featured guide system.
You guys also picked the worst time to try to have a discussion about this because it's the holidays and people are spending time with their families and not able to read these discussions and give their input. As much as I'd love to implement ideas I am just the Community Manager and I can't actually do any coding etc. I nag them to make changes but at the end of the day they have to have the time and resources to do it. There's reasons they do the things they do even if it seems like it's less important to the general user.
As I said before I will discuss some of the suggestions with them. However, there are a lot of things that need changes and I don't know which will be addressed first and it takes time to address these problems. Even if a car company agrees that they need to improve their fuel efficiency and start working on it right away they still have to design the new car, make the new car, test the new car, THEN they can put it on the market.

There is actually a very in depth discussion in the Editor's Forum going on about this right now. We are doing our best to find solid changes that can make everyone happy.

^Not just the Editors forum, but the Scout and Vet forums too. It's like 4 threads about the same thing.
But neither do you hear anything from some of the mods, nor does anything change.
Ergo: Either do they not care or they simply have no time, but no matter what's true, nothing is going to change.

Is there any truth in what the Reds say? Yep.
Isn't anything in action that will change that? Not that we know for the time frame after those totally dumb Scout thing came up.
