Maokai Offense Build.

[[Philosopher's stone]] seems to work really well for me. i tend to get behind in CS while playing jungle, so this helps me to keep up with my team mates. i dont think i need to explain [[Spirit stone]]. Mid game: [[Spirit stone]] ---> [[Spirit of the spectral Wraith]] [[Sheen]] [[Liandry's Torment]] i go [[spirit of the spectral wraith]] instead of [[spirit of the ancient golem]], because this is a offense build, and i really love the 20% spellvamp, and 20% smite cooldown reduce. the mana regen is also slighty better on [[spirit of the spectral wraith]], compared to [[spirit of the ancient golem]], which i find usefull on such a mana hungry jungler as maokai. [[Sheen]], well i know maokai is not much of a auto attacker, but he actually does it quite abit. to proc hes passive, and after a W + Q combo on your target. Now [[liandry's Torment]], this is actually a fairly new item i use on maokai, but it makes a whole lot of sense to use this item for me. it deals damamge to 2% of your current targets heath per second, and DOUBLES if they're stunned/slowed. Now maokai is a CC BEAST. so.. i find this item working really good on maokai. Late game [[Sheen]] ---> [[Iceborn Gauntlet]] [[Void Staff]] [[Guardian Angel]] or [[Spirit Visage]] [[Iceborn Gauntlet]] is a pretty standard, and self explaining item on Maokai, it simply makes your cc even harder. help you to chase down people, increases your mana ppol, cooldown rates, armor and damage. im not too sure about [[Void staff]] i have a feeling that theres a more efficient item i can replace this with, but it helps my burst ALOT with the Ap and Mpen. [[Guardian angel]] or [[Spirit Visage]] i usually go for [[Spirit Visage]] but in some cases, i find a [[Guardian angel]] better. sometimes, if i go against hard AD i tend to get [[Frozen heart]] or [[Randuin's Omen]] Rarely, i go for a [[thornmail]] this happens if its a 4 AD 1 AP team. so the final build would look like this: [[Mercury's Treads]] [[Spirit of the spectral Wraith]] [[Liandry's Torment]] [[Iceborn Gauntlet]] [[Void Staff]] [[Spirit Visage]] Now for the runes: 9x [[Greater seal of armor]] 9x [[Greater mark of Magic Penetration]] 9x [[Greater Glyph of cooldown Reduction]] 3x [[Greater Quintessence of Movement speed]] giving me the stats: + 13 Armor + 7,8 Mpen + -7,50% Cdr + 4,5% Ms. - Im sorry for bad grammar's/Spelling, English is not my first language.[/quote]

[/quote] Thanks alot for reminding me about the spellvamp 1/3 with AoE's. i actually totally forgot that, so g'bye to [[spirit of the spectral wraith]], and hello to [[Spirit of the ancient golem]]. [[Liandry's torment]] works really good for me, (that might be cause of the league im playing in.) but, it seems to be okay. specially against high hp enemies, which tend to happen alot. i meet loads, n loads of volibears, cho'gaths and garen down here. <-- maybe i should make this a situational item only.
