I think she was better pre rework.

Old Sejuani had trouble early game, and could really get destroyed from early counterjungling.
New Sejuani has even more trouble early game, and with counterjungling she gets destroyed even harder.

However if she can get into the game, she's even more of a monster in late game now.

Old Sejuani's problem was having no "autotankiness" that most tanks have and that really hurt her ability to engage early. She lost in CC to most that filled her role.

Don't get me wrong, she was good but Amumu was a slightly better pick. However she could only amplify the performance of the team during laning, as Amumu could completely and easily turn the game around.

Regarding damage, she has a way better kit now, but Haunting Guise/Rod of Ages was always a decent option if you needed some extra output.
Q damage change was good to make her fit in S3 better. the extended knockup is a bonus, making her on par with Amumu and Nautilus.
Passive change was needed, allowing her to behave like a tank earlier, since the old one really had a small influence in her usual playstyle.

She actualy used to do mroe damage, GMD. XD Her abilities just sucked *** as a whole and costed way too much and her cooldowns were bonkers.

I think the rework has made her extremely dangerous and I'm struggling to understand why she is never banned. I think the best thing about her is besides her slow clear rate at early stages of game she really dosnt have much to stop her, her ult, reminds me on an amumu ult just far more dangerous because its slows then even if she misses

Definitely buffed after rework while not worth in ban list since there are more better choice like Hecarim.

Sejuani is one of the absolute most powerful junglers in the game right now. She has insane synergy with building HP, CDR, and magic penetration, two of which are readily available on already powerful jungling items Locket of the Iron Solari and Spirit of the Ancient Golem

In addition, she has extreme synergy with building Sunfire Cloak and Liandry's Torment as Tanky DPS items.

It's also very powerful to buy a Ruby Sightstone on Sejuani because she can safely wander anywhere she wants due to her ability to wall hop on a low CD and the Sightstone also grants her offensive power due to the bonus hp

And has three solid MR items in Runic Bulwark, Twin Shadows, and Abyssal Mask.

Tossing in Ionian Boots of Lucidity on top of the 20% CDR of Locket and Golem and Sorcery mastery points and you can cheaply an effectively turn Sejuani into a powerful initator DPS tank chaser diabler who you will never get away from provided that she doesn't run out of mana.

Her Q allows her to wall hop, has an absurdly low CD, has AoE uncleansible CC, and deals a massive 12% of their max hp plus a considerable base damage.

The 16% bonus hp damage on her w is a considerable amount of spammable damage that will melt carries.

The range and ease of use on her expensive but incredibly reliable E which has a devastating slow insures that prey will never get away from you even if they are extremely mobile.

Her ult is one of the most powerful initiation ults in the game. Capable of locking up entire teams at incredible range and has a short CD, especially with max CDR.

When they first reworked her I said, "Holy cow Sejuani is overpowered." Over the 21 ranked games I've played with her, I've averaged a 5.0 KDA. I think that alone speaks for itself.

Anyone who doubts the power of new Sejuani compared to old, doesn't understand the power of her new Q.

Because of the knock up Q, Sejuani is devastatingly disruptive in addition to being damaging.

Yes new Sejuani deals marginally less damage than old Sejuani, but her disruption allows her to be the teams utility tank to a degree that old Sejunai could never. It also makes her level 1 invade similar in power to Alistar which allows you level 1 options that are extremely powerful when properly executed.

The disruption also lowers their DPS, and makes her a BETTER duelist against most champions, especially after achieving high amounts of CDR, Sunfire cloak, and/or liandry's which do their thing over time making them more valuable the longer the fight goes on.

All that in addition to extra peel, and a channel disrupt on a short CD, make new Sejuani head and shoulders better than old.
A tank that can't bring the hurt gets ignored.

That is so so so untrue hahaha. It's what everyone said and it really made me laugh. You can't count the number of times I've killed an enemy all by myself from 100 to 0 with Sejuani. Her permanent slow and her amazing ult + great unsuspected damage was what I loved from her and they almost took all those things away.
