Why has no one mentioned Armor Marks?

I'd take either those or MPen Marks.

This is so negligible that it might as well not exist. Considering that one autoattack at level 1 with Hunter's Machete deals 57.4 * 1.1 + 10 = 73.14 damage, AS marks should give you a significantly faster clear time.


Faster attack speed = faster autoattack animation = easier kiting

Holds true for both melee and ranged champions.


For some reason you only put the +10% extra damage part on autoattacks :P. Since this +10% damage applies to both abilities and autoattacks, there is no reason to take it in consideration (by the way it doesn't affect the +10 flat damage on each autoattack since true damage is true damage). You also didn't correctly calculate the extra damage from AP Marks on Flail of the Northern Winds (by the way Northern Winds no longer exists lol) and you didn't actually calculate the extra damage from AS Marks. I am disappoint. Very disappoint. (intended bad grammar)

The total AP ratio of the abilities together is 180%. 0.59*9*1.8 = 9.56 extra damage

Let's say Sejuani is level 3 and is fighting a jungle monster with 15 armor.

Her base attack speed is 0.670 (holy **** that is high), meaning that 9 AS Marks give an extra 1.7*9/100*0.670 = 0.10251 extra attacks per second

A level 3 Sejuani deals 61.9 physical damage + 10 true damage on each autoattack. That means 63.83 damage on each autoattack because of Armor. The AS increase gives us 6.54 extra damage per second on that jungle creature.

For AS Marks to be more effective than AP Marks, the fight needs to last more than 9.56/6.54 = 1.46 seconds. That means, always.

AS Marks win! Also, AS Marks make your autoattack animation smaller as Satella said so that helps. It also allows you to use red buff even more. So yeah, AS Marks definitely win lol

I've always used AS Marks, they used to be even better before rework because it allowed Sejuani to apply her passive more consistently because of smaller autoattack animations. Armor Marks are also okay.
