Damn, I'm out of the loop. Are you thinking of trying to add another consistent top laner? If you can really learn all Zac matchups, I can't see that counterpicks would be much of a problem anymore.
Well, as that game proves, even if I get behind I know Zac well enough to be resourceful. I just shifted to being the support. And, I still managed to be 6/1 somehow... accidental KS's. XD
I do however need to pick up another top laner that can deal with champions like Kennen or Teemo easier. As well as some mids/adcs

Gave you a good laugh or helped? rep+ so i can know ;)
Thanks to TinyStar, Jhoi, Xiaowi, Virus, Bard and Arcana(eww)...for my signatures!
Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.
Heres my Shyvana guide! I will dance in their ashes
My goal is to really get into specific champions to have very strong choices for each lane.
So far my most consistent picks have been;
Support: Sona, Thresh, Taric
Top: Zac
Jungle: Nasus, Sejuani
Mid: Viktor, Jayce
Will update as that changes, but anyway here's the first game of actually getting LP in Gold!
This game was a hassle. They guessed correctly that I'd be top (I had hoped that last picking Hecarim and trading would make them think i was jungling as Zac.) and countered with Teemo. Most of my laning phase was attempting to not take so much poke damage and keep the tower intact. He outfarmed me heavily and as a result I could not get the psuedo AP items I wanted, such as Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Luckily our support Fiddlesticks ended up with a lot of kills at bot and filled in my lack of damage. I took over Fiddlesticks role of support, and started buying Oracle's Elixir and began counter warding and began anti- Teemo work. Despite nearly doubling my CS, he really didn't help his team much and ended up going like 2/4. We won every team fight, due to our superior CC, and warding/counterwarding, and ultimately they gave up as they were all fighting with eachother.
Things I did well: I held my own against a counter lane, I kept his splitpushing and mushrooms in check.
Things I need to improve on: I impulse picked Zac because hes the only top laner I consistently do well with these days. I need to be more careful about counterpicks.
