The problem you should have is not with the champion, but rather the player who can't seem to play unorthodox supports to the level expected. For one measly example, I've played Lee Sin support and **** on people in my tier. Regardless, it isn't about the champ. It's about the player who picks teemo and doesn't know how to auto attack when they come into range, or blind the adc in fights, or generally does nothing but get killed and die, or the Shen who goes in, gets a double taunt and doesn't see your health bar is at 100 hp. Or the idiot who goes Ashe support and spams arrows, taking cs, missing the enemy, dying profusely, not warding, and generally just playing support because they didn't get adc.
In the end it's the guy/gal on the other end of the line, not the tool given to them.

No thats some other person.
Seriously though, does anyone actually use ANY of the supports on his list?
Apart from Karma and Annie literally every single one is like trash tier support.

Basically MOBAFire.

I'm sick and tired of getting landed with these idiots that think they can play any champion they want, grab

Arguments I've gotten as to why they can be successful supports:

tl;dr stop playing support if you don't know how be supportive. /rant.
with the exception of

my most played support in ranked as of this moment (I main support, btw):

She's perfectly fine as a support if you're not a total moron. :P
and I'd never had anyone complain at me about any of my picks for support this season. at all. until yesterday when I picked
Thresh...but that
Vayne was literally raging at everyone in the entire game on both sides and fed harder than anyone else on the team.

Name a single sustain support that sees any competitive play (spoiler: there are none).

You heard it here people, if you play a champion 4 times in ranked queue, that automatically proves your point! Thanks for sharing!

"I played with some bad players who picked x champion so therefore x champion is a bad support and shouldn't be played as such" feels like the entire theme of this thread. So I was pointing out that the kind of blanket statement that was made is sort of ridiculous.
4 games don't prove
Karma is good, but that wasn't really the point of posting it. I was mostly poking fun at the original post.
Note the ridiculous over-zoomed in screenshot from lolking, I dunno how you could have taken that seriously.

I mini-ranted, others didn't express quite as well as this guy.
