Do you enjoy playing Supports?

I don't know, in laning it seems like the ADCs are just CS-ing/trading the whole time until the support starts something.
Even in teamfights I've recently been relying on supports for the initiates and catches, particularly if they're playing

Wow. Such truth. Many realization. Wow.
Seriously though. You're right. Walking around as a

Support is never boring IMO. It is just one of the worst feelings ever to see Top/Mid/Jungle falling behind AND have an ADC who doesn't know what he doing.
but to be fair you still have roughly the same feeling in any role when everyone else is doing poorly.
because only women support and there isnt 2 women to every 8 manly men in every game
jkjkjkjk support is lame in low elos because you rely on someone else during laning even as something like leona and thresh, you can get as many good ults and grabs as you want but if your adc is braindead then the only thing coming out of it is you dying and them saying "dont fight unless you ping so i can get ready!" "wow feeder keeps diving" etc.
which is why i play mainly poke supports like krama and lulu so i can just throw Q's at people

Roughly. But in most roles your not relying on a second person you don't know to have your back in fights and trades.
I like playing support.
But the real reason I don't play it a lot?
When you are caught, you're dead. Either you run away or you die.
The other roles are different. The other roles still have a fighting chance.
And I guess that feeling of being powerless is what's preventing me from actually playing the support role.

Most support champions have CC kits that are some of the strongest in the game.
The way you win the game is by killing the nexus, and the way by killing the nexus is by killing towers. The way to kill towers is to rely on one of your teammates to split push - in which case, your CC lock down is invaluable to prevent your team from getting 4v5 engaged.
The other way to destroy towers is by knocking them down when they are uncontested, or forcing the tower to such low health that it could not safely defend its' allies. In both of these scenarios, supports' CC is invaluable for catching & CC locking carries, as well as peel for your own carries.
People think that the support role is the hardest to carry from, but in my opinion, it's quite easy to carry from if you have a team that can follow up on what you're doing. With that in mind, half of what supporting is about is shotcalling, and half of it is about successfully CCing important targets. Some of the league community can do the latter effectively... about 50% of the time.
The reason people don't like supporting is because they haven't experienced what it is really like to shotcall yet. If you look at most of the professional league teams, the supports are usually one of the two designated shotcallers for the team. for CLG, aphromoo makes the calls for mid/late game. Xpecial is the assistant shotcaller for TSM, and PoohManDu is the main shotcaller for SKT.
Another thing that's important to note is that supports can easily bully ADCs out of lane early game, and can quite easily snowball the bot lane out of control
