I think it's quite possible that Kog will end up filling that niche to some extent now. His laning is deceptively decent since his buffs and every single item change in this patch was a buff to most of his build paths.

There were a noticeably large amount of game changes and QoL buffs this patch, I've updated the list a bit already, but don't fret if I haven't changed some placements, a lot of things are still in testing. Was actually gonna hammer out a bunch of games today but then ranked went down.

What do you think about Cho'Gath in the toplane with the BotRK nerf to most bruisers? It's not that big but do you think he could receive more play? Also thoughts on an Olaf build involving Bloodthirster and another lifesteal item for insane healing plus the shield? Lastly, do you think Nidalee jungle could become a thing?
EDIT : Also do you think the ADC changes will help Ezreal in particular (With the BT -> TF -> LW build)?

The active was nerfed. The passive is what makes the item strong against Cho, and it got buffed. Not sure why this would make him any more viable as a top laner.

His niche of being the only strong late game ADC who doesn't suck early is likely gone.
Wouldn't call that a niche though, that was flat out broken.
