Actually psi told me that mods can't ban someone. Only admins can.
If I helped you out, be sure to throw me a +Rep!

It's actually me doing all the work (notifying Mowen about it because she's the only one who can ban him), like I always do when I see spam. :P
Edit:
It's also a script that creates an account, and then starts creating new threads/posting in current threads what you see. IP bans won't permanently stop it since it runs on a proxy.

Just make sure to report spammers as soon as you see them (only one report per user is necessary so you don't have to report every thread) and an admin will deal with it as soon as possible. For smaller cases mods can delete individual threads but there's not much I can do when there are 230+ threads with more being created faster than I can delete them.

Thanks to Jovy for the sig!

So, we can't stop it? We just have to deal with it?
It'll probably stop eventually on it's own, and we could always use a post/thread timer as was suggested earlier.
Edit:
I also find messaging Mowen on skype when she's on works wonders :P

It'll most likely stop like those kitchens made in the U.K. threads did eventually
BUT WHAT IF WE NEED HELP WITH OUR MARRIAGE BECAUSE OUR KITCHEN WAS RUINED AND WE WANT ONE FROM UK?
We'll see who gets the last laugh
Easily solved:
Add 'Can post in Threads' and 'Can create new Thread' properties to user accounts.
Give mods access to these properties.
A thread/post timer will only serve as damage control and it's still gonna be up to Mowen to stop the account from spamming.
Why did I ever decide to teach myself to program?

That will work, but it will only work well if you have those properties automatically disabled, in which case a mod/admin will have to go through a **** ton of people each day and approve them all.
You need to log in before commenting.

How do we block someone permanently? Because if Wayne keeps banning him, but he keeps coming back, it just comes out to be wasted energy and time.
I think Mowen can ban the IP address. I'm not sure if Wayne or Psi can do that though.
Also this is probably a bot or something doing this.
