Champion Concept

So, I was walking through Big Lots (the only place in the world I know of that would put handles on automatic doors), when I came up with an idea for a new champion. The basic idea, would be an AP style elemental mage with a very high skill cap whose abilities have effects between themselves and the enemy to give bonus effects. The skill from this champion would be combining these effects in such a way that you either maximize damage, CC, or pester. By the way, the names are probably really dumb, so I apologize in advance for that (for this particular post, I shall call him Eli).
His passive would be Earth Tremors. Every 10 seconds, a small, AOE (physical) damaging effect would occur that would radiate from the champion. This effect would be similar to Alistar's Trample effect, except the ability would be passive and the cooldown would lessen in duration with each spell used. This effect would damage minions, champions, and structures and scale with AD. This gives the champion a smal…

Proving Ground, keyword : aram

Hey folks,
today I have a special question for you: Is there any good strategy for ARAM or do you just play like every other game trying to stay alive and defend/push? How often do you start fights and what champions are your favorites?
Do you have the problem that you get the same champion over and over again?

Personally, I just play like every other normal game with a few exceptions:
1. I often play champions on burst damage because burst damage wins games in ARAM.
2. I play quite defensive trying to stay alive and not to die until I have the gold for some expensive items. If I reaached that point I start to play a bit more aggressive.
3. I use nearly fixed build orders... There's not much choice in ARAM if you want to build burst damage. The only items I always change are defensive items to adapt to the enemy team.

Last time, I got Twitch and was really pissed about it because he is sooo squishy and can't deal that big damage in early/mid-game. He's useless until level 6 on AD an…

Tier lists for ranked games (Jayce patch)

Introduction

Hi again everyone! It's already the 5th iteration of my tier lists. I've updated them for the Jayce patch. I made a lot of changes this time. Some champions got buffed, some got nerfed, some I reconsidered. Anyway, just see for yourself.

About the tier lists

These tier lists are my personal opinion. I've made them by watching high elo and tournament games and, of course, by playing games myself. They might change a lot, depending on patches or new experiences. Feel free to tell me if you think something isn't right and I'll have a closer look at it. The tier lists take every part of a champion into consideration and are fit for high-elo and competitive games. Explanations will follow as I get feedback or change things.

Tiers
Tier 1: These are the strongest champions. They are picked or banned most of the time in competitive matches. They provide different abilities and strengths to help the team. They have few weaknesses and are hard to counter.

Tier 2: Still very stro…

BREAKING LANE

When to break lane depends largely on how the early game went, and the choices made during your first back. If things went as planned then aim to break lanes once you finish the core of the build:

FIRST BACK

For the standard build, hold out until ~level 5, back with around 50cs which should provide you with the money for a sheen and a vamp sceptre. However sometimes things don't quite go as planned. One common problem is you're being pushed out of lane early by a gank or by the enemy lane slamming you (corki leona tends to do this). Remember deviating from the build is not a bad thing, all the other builds will have pros and cons and the standard build is not perfect.

SKILL ORDER

Detailed above. The only reasons to deviate from the order is if the enemy or allied support is Taric or Leona. In this case you want to put 2 points into arcane shift, as this coupled with mystic shot's passive means that your

GUIDE SUMMONER SPELLS

[Flash], two flashes are better than one; remember you want to live at the back of the team fight away from harm so having two methods of repositioning oneself is more important than any other summoner spell.

[Exhaust], I really wouldn't bother taking it as your support should be taking exhaust not you; however if your support has taken something else take it yourself you NEED one in lane and you need one in team fights to use on the tanks that will try and dive you.
