Earlier this week I celebrated one month as a LoL player. I believe the festivities included playing all pvp games with a random team and COMPLETELY avoiding my "first win of the day" bonus. Not much fun. But it WAS a learning experience.

I began playing LoL at the behest of my nephew, who's been playing for about a year. He would come over with his laptop, and plug it into my tv, so I could watch him play and go through champion profiles and such. I was fascinated fairly early on, but my gaming has been limited to consoles for years now. The last PC game I played was probably Warcraft II. In fact, I have Warcraft III and haven't even touched it. (Note to self: load up Warcraft III) So finally, months after my first introduction to LoL, I signed up and downloaded the game.

My nephew is 15 and a high school student, so during the day while he was in school I began trying to figure this out on my own. After the tutorial and the battle training segments, one is prompte…

I know there's a strong "there is no elo hell" thing around, and I half-agree. But lately I've been realizing I lose more games when I duo queue with lower elo friends than when I solo. It's just that no matter how bad/mediocre my laners are, I just can't have enough general presence to forcecarry and pretty much someone ****s up somewhere.

It's all a lot more complex than it looks, but at least on my regular elo there's less idiots and it's generally easier to create farmlane conditions while still creating gank or fight situations that are favorable. Heck, there's less dc's and people keep their cool.

Well, I need like 10 consecutive wins to return to where I was, and another 7-8 to finally reach that weird elusive 1.6K elo.

Completely destroyed them in this game. I don't usually own this hard in games especially ranked but in this one I did. Last time I played Fizz in ranked pretty much the same thing happened. Maybe I should play him more lol. My farm isn't that good this game but I did roam a lot for my team so that's my excuse!

I want to write a new community guide, but I am out of inspiration :P

If anyone has something that bothers him/her about the LoL community, please leave a comment, I might write a guide about it :P

So far, I have the blaming game guide (basically about how to handle flamers) and a "how to deal with instalockers" guide.

Hello People of LoL!
Welcome to the 2013 year! Anyone watch the NA Qualifiers? So much Sona and Lulu! (This of course made me a very happy panda, since those are the most OP supports ever!) The Nunu ban in the Dirtnap Gaming v.s. Azure Gaming series amused me, finally, someone realizes how dangerous supports are!

Still climbing for level 30, and plan on having it in three weeks or so, but despite that I can't live stream AT ALL! Net issues are a little frustrating, but I'm working on it ASAP. In the meantime I'm breaking to learn Ahri, just so I can play more AP mids than just Orianna. (Who everyone says has a steep learning curve, honestly I don't see it, i'm a natural!)

Lastly, look at the Enderstar Gaming channel! Since I can't live stream for now, catch up on my action there. I plan on uploading videos on my play, and at the time of release they won't be more than a few days old.

I spent like 8 hours today working on my guide. I spent an extra half hour reading the guide and correcting any mistakes I made. The guide is ready. Just waiting on guide graphics. I ordered some in TinyStar's shop so once those are ready and I add them the guide will be released.

So tired right now cause after I was done with the guide I played some league games to get my first win of the day and in my first game (it was first game of the day as well) this tryhard Akali I played against with Riven gave me First Blood then kept being aggressive and didn't learn anything and gave me 2 more kills. Then she and Shaco gave me a double kill. Then she and Talon switched and Talon and Shaco gave me a 2nd double kill. After that Talon gave me a few more kills but all of a sudden our Malzahar fed the 0/4 Akali..../facepalm...and then when I went mid and told him to go farm at top he just stood there at mid for a few minutes and went top once the lane was pushed already and the tower was destro…

Need tips to get higher elo...
im a filipino and playing LoL for 2 years..i really want to improve my gameplay but my problem is, it's very hard for me to surpass that 1.3k elo barrier.. even though i try my best to cooperate with my team mates,,some of them were too selfish and always trash-talking their team mates..i guess most of Filipino players are like that...with those kind of teammates its really hard for me win most of my games...what should i do??

If you want a really good early game

AS Reds, Armor Yellow, MR Blues, MS Quints
Standard tank runes

Don't run Mpen reds, not worth it because you're usually supplying CC and Sunlight damage is off your ally's Mpen.

Masteries: 0/23/7 or 0/21/9

Skill Sequence: R > W > E > Q, always get Q at 1.

-knitted a cowl for a friend in Wisconsin as a Christmas gift, won't get to give it to her 'till next month though

-finished the blue/purple hat, pictures here and here

-ripped out the electric blue sweater I started, I've decided I'm going to knit some sort of cardigan instead, haven't actually started anything with the yarn yet though

going to start working on some other things now that I have more time...so more updates coming soon!
