Shadow Islands Patch

Well the Shadow Islands patch notes are up on the league website.
Shadow Islands notes

I am absolutly pumped about the new Twisted Treeline remake. The map looks sick, the items and buffs and just eveyrithing should make this map more fun. Maybe we will be lucky and get some more tournamnet action next season out of this map now.

Also did anyone else catch that there is a very small trundle buff?!?!?!?!!? I love this, I mean i didnt know enough people played him for riot to even bother with him but they did. Bug fixs and manna cost buff.

Yeah love this patch cant wait to try it out.

What you guys think about this patch, is there any part that just jumps out at you?
Also has anyone played the twisted treeline on the PBE that can leave us some feedback on it?

Mobafire birthday :D

Hi there!

It's been a little while since I didn't show up here, but since today it's been a year since I joined you guys, I decided to come by and say hi :)

College's been a great fun so far for me.
Might get back to playing league over winter break if I'll get some spare time for it lol

How have you guys been doing?

This is crazy!!!!!!

Almost 410 cs at almost 47 minutes in the game...I can feel it!! Anivia is crazy!! Oh my god..this is just so crazy..I was so close to having 10 minions for every minute. I really wanna do that cause Pro Players always do it and if I do it then it means I can actually play well if I get really really serious :D

Anivia Marathon

So I was watching wingsofdeathx's stream the other day and he said something quite useful. He said if we really wanna get good at a champion we should play him 10-20 even 50 games if we need to just to get better at said champ. So since I want to improve at the moment I bought Anivia and decided to play like 50 games in a row with her.

Her AA Animation is really ****ty so that's why my last hitting will improve by at least a little bit if I learn how to last hit with Anivia. The only problem is that I'll get bored with her after 10 games xD..I dunno how I'm gonna last 50 but I will do it for sure! I've already played 4 games and I've won 3 of em and had decent farm for someone who has barely played Anivia before.

Seriously guys try this out if you really wanna learn something (last hitting, zoning, etc) or a certain champion. I think it'll work which is why I'm trying it :D okay well thanks for reading! ^_^

In Business!

Hey all!

Been at 30 for a while, and I've been working on a guide for the champion that first got me hooked on LoL... Swain. Solotop Swain, to be precise. His sustain can be put into HP and regen as opposed to mana thanks to Carrion Renewal, and since I'm mainly a solotop player these days... it makes sense. Also, recruiting for my ranked team Minor Deity. Not ranked in 3s or 5s yet due to numeroud roster changes, but I'm getting it together, and the guide should be done before too long. Thanks for being patient.

Nintendudex

I just played a pickup ranked teams game with nintendudex and my buddy xiom. I got to play Karma mid, and that game was freaking legendary. One of the most fun games i've ever played. I'm going to upload the replay tonight and put it in my Karma guide, I highly recommend you check back in a few hours and download the replay off the guide and check it out. Freaking. Hilarious.

What do I do? AHhhhhh!!

A friend of mine wants to stream and he wants me to help him out with setting up the stream, adding a banner, etc. I already asked around for a banner and I said I'd do it but..you have no idea what kind of person my friend is xD

He's in my class and we laugh at him every single time he says he's gonna stream cause he's one of those people that like to rage and get mad at their teammates when they suck and feed (and he barely knows English xD). He's decent at the game sometimes but I can't really see him streaming so I'm wondering if I should help him or not.

I'm already picturing the first stream...he's gonna play a game and after he loses he's gonna start spaming the chat with "NOOBS!!!******S!!!STOP FEED OMG!!!" xD ...yeah..perhaps I shouldn't help him lol. What do you guys think? :D

Updates on my guides and gaming experience

My guides aren't 'outdated', but I've learned much more and improved much more so I'll update them eventually and get to my top lane match ups (ugh, school).

When I do play, I've been mastering Nidalee and Poppy. I got invited to a decent team playing for go4lol, but due to my hectic schedule, I may have to decline it or play as sub/practice partner. :( Disappointment.

Started a guide on solomid while back, still in progress. Who knew junior year would actually be busy? (sarcasm).

As for the supporters on my guides, thanks! I look back occasionally and respond to all PM's asap, I've racked up quite the views so I'm happy people learn and use my guides effectively.

When I get time, I'll rehit plat and perhaps go for diamond, although to be honest, due to my time constraints, even plat this moment is a far shot.

I also might revert to support depending on a few factors in the next few months in terms of my gaming group. I'm currently teaching a jungler and a possible to-be top laner…

Falling for a champion

I just wanted to talk about some of my champion picks, especially the ones to which I seemed to find myself with a natural affinity. Whilst I haven't played every champion yet, I've played my fair share, yet some stick out more than others. We all have our comfort picks, though how long does it take before we find who we like? Is it straight away, or does it take time?

The first champion I can remember falling for is Janna. I played her for the first time when I was level 20 or so and immediately felt a strong affinity to her. That first game went so smoothly, despite never having played her before, and she just felt like my kind of champion. I mained her for a long time after that and still prefer supporting as an overall consequence.

The situation was a little different for other supports. The first time I played Soraka I didn't like her at all. It was very different going from the amazingly mobile Janna to the more ponderous Soraka. I guess I felt more vulnerable without that sp…

Details about my build

I ain't giving out all the things about my builds like how to play with the builds and so if you wanna learn that you would have to get to talk with me on LOL or just ask me here i am just too lazy to try to explain it all in one so you may ask me yourself if you got any questions and il tell you some but gotta keep some secrets of my builds for myself.
