On hit champs

So what is your opinion of going on hit with champs like kayle or kog maw? No one even seems to think about it as when I play either I'm always asked "AD or AP?" never if I'm going on hit. But on hit is way easier to build and does better damage early game. Then later you can sell some of your items off (malady) for something better like a BC or a IE or whatever you don't have that would help (I prefer BC on kayle for the passive and AS). But what are your opinions of on hit builds? I can honestly say I've never done badly when building on hit Kayle and I don't play kog so I can't comment on him.

My last game I had by far the most damage on my team as well as 21 kills and something like 16 assists. And from personal experience I can say they don't really fall off late game either. As long as after your base build is done you know to buy items that give you more AD then your early game wrecks and you keep wrecking all game. And don't say it isn't as good as straight AD/ AP because I've…

I have returned :)

Hey there Mobafire friends and neighbors, I have finally returned to being here after my successful quest for knowledge and power.
I will be writing guides once again, and my first one, since being back, will be a very special treat and will be on a champion very dear to me.
Note, that it will not be covered in banners and silly string, but will contain some images along with valuable information that I have collected through playing this Champion.

I will probably just float around, commenting on guides and such, but will be gentle ^^
I hope whoever is reading this is as excited about me being back as I am :)

Thanks for reading, and I'll see you soon

A little about me and how I started out.

Well, lets start out with my name. My name is Jean and I come from Luxembourg.I am 16 years old as of today and I am a student which hobbies are playing videos games, chill with friends and of course graphic designing.

I've been graphic designing for about 2-3 years on and off since I mostly lose my passion for it sometimes. But I am trying to actually become a graphic designer as a profession! As even higher goals I am looking to work with digital art and maybe work for game companies.Leagues of Legends art spotlights have been pretty inspiring.

Now about my LoL experience.I've been playing since beginning february and I am currently level 29.I've played all the roles but the often ones I play is AD/AP Carry and a rather chill role support.I might actually need a mentor or a good partner with skype living in EU to play with.Just to boost my general skills since I don't want to tackle ranked directly, since I want a few more champs and more runepages. That's about it from my LoL experienc…

Updates updates and...updates?

Mother's day is close. For me anyway people-from-different-time-zones. So I'm busy preparing that for my mother/mum. If I say mother, I sound like a distant prick yet if I say mum, I sound like a little kid. Aghhhh. kk, new word alert. Mothum: The perfect name. So yeah, preparing Mothum's day since she prepares every other day in the year. Whilst my dad does nothing, lazy s-let's not go there. don't take that seriously, or my value of you just decreased. Now, since I am organizing mother's day, I was waning on whether or not to do the two champion stories. Yet last time I didn't make the deadline, so I have decided that I will indeed complete them. I swear on my li-actually, I don't. Let's not take it that far. Also, happy mothum's day if you're a mothum. Who plays LoL...Mothum domination. Endless possibilities...

*ahem* moving on. The next thing I have to talk to you about is that once my editor gets back from his honeymoon we will begin work on the drafts I have up. Now, as I've sai…

Tier List A's

Doing this Alphabetically and this is coming from someone who considers himself a decent player, but in no way any good. THIS IS MY PURELY OPINION AND WILL CHANGE AS I LEARN CHAMPIONS/STRENGTH/PLAY THEM

5 Categories.
Broken - Oh god, why. If the person playing this champion has half a brain your team should win.

Strong - Really Strong, might be just a Tad OP but they're not game shattering if the person playing them knows what they're doing

Balanced - Well, they're at a good place. they have the pro's a con's that counter balance each other to lead to a good balanced champion.

Mediocre - they're just lacking in one area or another and are just too meh to play.

Eve Tier - Do not play unless its life or death.

Ahri - Higher side of balanced/lower side of strong: With her passive sustain and skill shot in charm, she feels a tad strong to me. That orb can do enough damage and if she lands charm and combos you, you'll be lucky to survive. That and she's highly mobile with her u…

My Tier List (WIP)

Edit: I'm just going to hold off on posting this until I'm finished with it. Once I finish with the actual tier list, I'll work on actual overviews and opinions. Also, the tiers will actually be based off of power, with my opinions on them listed with them. Eventually, I hope to make it a full mini-guide to every champion.

This goes by champion in alphabetical order. They are one of 5 tiers.
Tiers:
Godlike - Challenging, but rewarding. My personal favorite champions.
Powerful - Not quite godlike, but pretty good. Fun to play as, but not totally epic.
Decent - Not terrible, but not great. They are either too easy for my taste, or aren't rewarding enough with skill to be higher.
Pitiful - Just overall lame. I dislike some aspect of them, or they are just weak overall.
Broken - ...I refuse to play these champions because they are too powerful with too little effort. Unless I'm trolling, I won't be using them.
N/A - I haven't played them enough to give them a rating.

Normals: Draft vs. Blind

So which is better? Well, it depends on what you're looking at. A fun, rewarding game? Draft. A good place to practice and feel out new champions? Blind. A place where you want to play a champion NO MATTER WHAT? Blind. Better players on both teams? Draft (in general). A good place to take lower skill friends? Blind. A fully balanced team with all roles? Draft. An idiot who doesn't know what hes doing? Which ever I'm in. Personally, I only do drafts on summoners rift unless my friends want to do blinds. I prefer the balanced teams that are more common in draft, and the higher skill level over all. Plus, it's good practice for ranked.

F2P Champions Removed from Ranked

In an attempt to help calm the woes of ranked queue-rs everywhere, Riot is trying out a new change that will make it so summoners can not choose any of the weekly, free to play champions when they queue for a Solo ranked game.

Free2Play Champions are being removed from Ranked Solo/Duo Queue soon unless you own the champions. We may revisit this policy in the future, but we are going to test this out.

- Lyte, Game Designer, via the official forums.

Lyte went on to explain the choice in a little more detail:
In brief, we are exploring various hypotheses we have about sources of noise in Ranked Ladder. Removing F2P champions ultimately raises the barrier of entry into Ranked Ladder slightly (such that you must now own 16 champions to play Ranked); secondarily, players tend to be more experienced with Champions they own, so that might help reduce the fluctuations in skill we are observing.
