Kha'Zix, the Voidreaver, Revealed

Kha’Zix, the Voidreaver, will be devouring prey on the Fields of Justice in the upcoming patch. A flexible jungle assassin, Kha’Zix excels at surprising enemy champions and quickly dealing massive burst damage. Moreover, his unique evolution gameplay allows him to adapt to different enemy team comps and strategies by customizing his abilities over the course of the match. Here’s a full rundown of his abilities:

[*] Unseen Threat (Passive): When Kha'Zix is not visible to the enemy team, he gains Unseen Threat, causing his next basic attack against an enemy champion to deal bonus magic damage and slow.

[*] Taste Their Fear: Deal physical damage to a single target. Damage against isolated targets is significantly increased. Kha'Zix passively marks enemies that are isolated from nearby allies.
Evolving claws increases damage to isolated targets even further. Kha'Zix also gains increased range on both Taste Their Fear and his basic attack.

[*] Void Spike: Kha'Zix fires spikes tha…

AD Melee vs Ranged and how they should compare

I actually posted this on the RIOT forums, but I am re-posting here for those who don't follow their forums.

Since the days where RPG's were played with pencil, paper, dice and a couple books, there have been ranged and melee characters. Modern games that use RPG style characters (i.e. LoL) still follow the traditional format for these types of characters. So before complaining about how someone is playing a character wrong, here are a few notes i have made. Also, for the RIOT guys, i hope you continue to follow this pattern, although I think you have strayed on some champs, you have it right for the most part.

Melee Fighters:
1. Generally have more tank to start with than ranged, after all, they are face to face with the enemy. This does not make them a tank, they are just tankier. (i.e. GAREN...for the love of God, he is NOT a tank...read him.)

2. Should, notice i say should, do more damage than a ranged character...again...an in your face champ.

3. Should generally have slowe…

Riot's new refund system

First of all: good job @ Riot!

The refund system is another gesture showing how much the company cares for it's customers. KUDOS!

I was super amazed when I read that you can give back skins and champions (3 per lifetime per account). Here is exactly what happened when I talked to Mr. Riot about this.

Mr.RIOT: Refund System now online, you can give back 3 champions or skins in a lifetime.

Blowfeld: Yeah, bye bye Xerath! He was the biggest mistake I ever bought. Thank you, Mr. Riot.

Mr. RIOT: Oh, only stuff you bought within the last 90 days...

Blowfeld: GNARRRRR!!!

How To Get Better On Mid by Topaz Eyes

ok,so personally id say its most about personal experience and how good you are with a certain champ,on the other side its the teamplay and how much damage you can do in teamfights,as well as disrupting the enemy at same time.

so lets start with early game, what are the basics on laning?

- creeping
there are 6 creeps in each wave, and 7 in every 4th wave, each creep is worth 18 gold

if you are able to last hit 2 waves of creeps, that gives you +about 200 gold advantage of enemy.

- pushing
ok,lets see you get countered or just play vs plain champ that is bad in unpushing the lane,
it would be smart to push the lane, but what are benefits?

+enemy cant engage
+enemy makes it harder to last hit
+you can hide in fog of war and gank
+you can take enemy wraiths (wards recomended)

-its harder for you to cs
-when you go in to take creeps, you can get ganked easly
-you cant engage on enemy

- gold/10
i heard you like gold/10?
-yes,because i like building deathfire and it pays off,even tho i w…

i keeped getting slapped in mid game :(

when i play as rammus i get slapped but when i play malphite i do the slapping, when im teemo... heh, im just being a big A**, but rammus is one of my favs n i want to get better with him, when i 1st played him i got slapped SOO bad it wasnt even funny 0/13/2 ....sadly but yes, but i never gave up around my 5th game i was slapping pplz right n left, but one champ i cant bet on my own is POPPY!!! i hate her...:@ annoying she is, does anyone know how to counter her?

Titles? I don't have any titles.

Blogging!
Why not!
Introductions. I should probably start with one of those in my first blog, maybe.
Hi.
I'm Taruzard.
I'm an alcoholic.

But seriously.
I'm a silly brit.
Just a silly brit.

I've only come back to the game for about a month, now. I played late 2010, and stopped around the time Lee Sin was added to the game.

I've gone from level 10 to 23.
And I'm still bad at this game.
I think. Maybe.
I dont know. Maybe it's just cause I got carried by level 30s earlier on so my hidden ELO is higher than normal.
But anyway
I'm in love with Poppy. Her playstyle is awesome, and I love just bopping people down with my giant hammer at their turret while their team mate watches helpless because of my Ultimate.
Annie is another favourite, and my first bought champ in 2010.
These two were my first champions since low levels, and I love them both.
I've also recently discovered Teemo.
If I had the choice, I'd play Poppy most games. But Teemo is alot easier to win with (accidental killsteals=f…

Season Finale Buffs!

Welcome back!

As you all saw on the League of Legends patch notes, the buffs have arrived. Personally I was really satisfied with this changes, since I was really looking for some buffs on one specific champion: Rengar. As many other may know, he isn't one of the best junglers but he, in my opinion, has TONS of potential. With this buff they gave a hope to all the Rengar players. I really want to hear your opinion, but personally now let's say that he is more viable then before mostly 'cause of the "fix" of his passive and buff on his ultimate.
For the other buffs and nerfs I mostly think they were nicely done, mostly the nerf on Yorick (it's almost impossible to beat a skilled Yorick for what I saw).

So that's it for me, since I just wanted to give my opinion to this changes. Hope you all a ncie day,
your Courier!

Hey, Mobafire community

So when I first came to the site all I did was look up guides for champions that I played, then I went on to making a few for Akali, Fizz, and

Syndra Debate

So from what I've heard about Syndra is that she kind of needs some buffs. However I wonder if she would make a good heavy harass support role? Also does anyone see her as a viable counter to some other ap mid champ? well there's the 2 questions, let the debates and opinions begin.

The Tales Of An Absolute Failure: Opening Post - Not...

Well, I've been awake a little over two hours and since this is my day off from classes smack dab in the middle of the week and I know Thursday I'll be in class all day and at the bar 'til 12:30 or so, so I've got to take advantage of it. Especially with how beat I'm going to be Friday. Now me? I'm level twenty and even if I were thirty would not consider myself fit for ranked gaming.

I tend to do **** most of the time and break even when I have a good team.

The exceptions to this rule are:

A. On occasion it's like I'm a man possessed when I play mid. These occasions are few and far between. I had one particularly fun game playing Cait against an Anivia. Ah man, those are the days.

B. When my ex and I lane together and we're both on our game. I know she has to scramble to save my *** sometimes, but she really is a good support. I just don't understand how anyone can enjoy doing support despite the fact that I offer to play support for her all the time. I discovered that playing as …
