Hello everyone this is my first blog and definitely not my last time permitting. There are a few tips I want to share with players wanting to get to gold but feel as if they are getting caught in the legendary elo hell.

First thing is first, get comfortable with a champion and focus on getting good with that champion.

If you notice when you watch streamers they hardly deviate from their comfort picks when they are going through their promotional matches. You should get into this habit as well. I suggest playing normal games with your champion of choice so you can identify the poor match-ups, or matches you do poorly in and maybe even document them so you can have a little cheat sheet when you go into ranked lobbies and have the opportunity to counter-pick.

NEVER PICK A CHAMP YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH BUT ARE TOLD ITS THEIR COUNTER.

I see this so much in soloq X champion counters Y champion, so you should pick that right?

So here is a little need to know about our team. Our leader is a black girl who loves to talk about this white girl from Michigan in which I, DiscoStick, will take from her in due time she just has no clue yet. Thanks for reading guys we cant wait to ****ing destroy you in whatever you come up against us in. I mean We do have a #blacklady on our team, fear us now Oh **** I can type in green!

So the other day I invited my Silver Division IV friend to play a game with me to see how good he was. Me being still relatively new to this but also doing well already, I honestly figured that I would be able to keep up with him; I failed. He decimated the other team while our teammates and I were barely able to handle a single one of them. I ended up going 2/4 while he went 33/1. I had heard that people who were ranked were good but damn, I wanna see my Gold Division friend in action now; I fear for the other team.

RANT:

(If I'm playing Nami) I live by the rule that if I'm around a nearby ally who does more damage than me, I always give them my Tidecaller's Blessing. Always.

Prime example: I'm playing Caitlyn today, the enemy Udyr took inhib, I came up behind him and started attacking. He starts to run away. My Nami puts her Tidecaller's Blessing on HERSELF. My range is much larger. If she gave me her Tidecaller's Blessing, I could have slowed the Udyr in one shot, then on the next one, I could have killed him. BUT NO.

NAMI SUPPORT IS OVER POWERED.
When used right. Obviously.

Nami is a high skill champion, uses a ton of mana, and is my favorite support champion! And what I've learned is that if you can land a majority of your Q's (Aqua Prison), you can win lane and possibly the game!

Her passive, Surging Tides, gives bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds, which is enough for a teammate to catch up to an opposing enemy.

Her Q, Aqua Prison, suspends champions in the air for 1.5 seconds and is a game changer. And if you can land a majority of your bubbles, the enemy ADC and Support will be terrified of you! During early lane phase, I often use it as a poke mechanism. I throw one out every 45 seconds to a minute which gives my ADC multiple chances to make plays or trade with the enemy.

Her W, Ebb and Flow, is my favorite ability of her set. Nami unleashes a stream of water that bounces between allied and enemy champions, it can hit up to three times. If it hits an allied champion, it heals; if it hits…

You can basically create a character using the site and then share thefinal result with others. It is hard to create a male character but it's possible. Thought it would be cool to try to create yourself or a character from maybe anime or something.

One time while I was playing in a 5v5 match with Sion. I was doing well and my team was winning. Suddenly, the Q and R commands were not working on Sion. Still won the match. I thought it was from the ability of one of the enemy champions even though I didn't see a status on Sion, I thought nothing of it. It then happened to me again yesterday; the team lost the match. I decided to look into it and found out that Sion has a bug! My favorite LoL champion has a bug! I have not used him since and switched to a new champion, Wukong. I do intend to play Sion again but I do not see Riot Games fixing his bug soon since apparently this has been happening for a while (more than a year). Hopefully there's a fix so I do not have to worry about it.

There comes a time in every Leaguer's life (maybe) where you get to the point you need to stop the learning phase. That's about where I am. I've been just throwing together items lately, hoping for the best. Usually, there's a good outcome. Sometimes, not so much. So as of now, I'm going to start putting some real builds together. Maybe make a few guides if I feel that gutsy. As I get closer to being able to do ranked, I don't want to just fall face-first into it and not know what I'm doing. I wanna get my things together. Finally do some good with the champions I play so much, and learn the ones that just collect dust in my list. See ya on the flipside!

I main in the jungle, generally as a tank or assassin depending on the build. I don't like facing enemy champions head on, but prefer to come, see, and conquer as the game progresses.

I play these champions, and can provide some builds very often for them.
