Alkali is pokeable from early game, and that's the advantage you want to use. She becomes a major threat at 6, but if you play smart, you can outscale her. If she gets fed, DO NOT face check bushes unless absolutely necessary. She will abuse you late game.
Ahri
Ahri is a mediocre threat. You can win from early into late, as long as you avoid her charms. If you feel she's about to all in you, have a sand soldier prepared for escape.
Katarina
She's a skill level inflated champ. Just permaban her so you don't have to deal with her. She can dash away from under towers, even after you ult her, because… she can.
Jayce
You outpoke him from early game into late. Just beware of his melee stance when going for the finisher, and when you get low. If you can kill him from a distance, that is what's optimal.
Lillia
Lilia can be beat fairly easily during landing phase, but once she hits 6, her burst potential becomes a bit much to deal with.
LeBlanc
LeBlanc's dash in and blink out makes it hard to place Azir's soldiers correctly for consistent damage. If you can keep a soldier up, somewhere near you, but close enough to where she'll expectantly blink back to, she typically won't take the trade.
Yasuo
Azir completely dominates Yasuo since his windfall is absolutely useless. He has to all in you to deal damage, so when his Q3 is ready, have a sand soldier prepared for escape.
Kayle
Azir is, for the most part, untouchable by Kayle. He outranges her, and out damages her. The only time she becomes a threat is if she gets fed, so Azir won't be able to 1v1 her in a simple head on at that point.
Darius
Azir completely dominates Darius in lane. Just remember to keep your distance, even when he gets low, because he will use that small window to take you down and snowball. If you feel Darius is going to all in you, prepare a sand soldier for escape.
Xerath
Xerath's range isn't a huge problem for Azir. Avoid his stuns and you win trades 75% of the time. At level 6, Xerath wins unless you all in him, and if you can ult him out of his ult, bonus points for being awesome!
Syndra
Syndra is a decent threat. You're able to maintain your distance when fighting her, but you do want to avoid her skill shots as often as possible. Once she hits 6, she can all in you, and your shield won't save you.
Veigar
Veigar's cage is the main threat. As long as you stay on the outside of it, you win trades, but his Q poke will still hurt to the point that you have to play aggressively to win trades.
Illaoi
Yes, Illaoi is in the minor threat category. Crazy, right? WRONG! When you play against Illaoi, all you have to do is avoid her tentacle slammy thingies, and you win all trades. If you see her going to all in you for maximized damage, just prepare a sand soldier for escape.
Anivia
I actually haven't had an Azir Anivia face-off yet. Though I assume with her Q range, and her walls, she can pose a serious threat to Azir.
Akshan
Anshan completely loses to Azir's range (shocker). As long as you sidestep Akshan's Q, and ult him under tower/into minions, he won't stand a chance against the Shuriman Emperor.
However, his mid to late game potential is to be taken seriously, as he can gank other lanes and gain the gold advantage on you rather quickly due to his invisibility.
Zyra
Zyra's poke is not to be taken lightly. If you can't take her plants out before she activates them, stand back and try to clear them with sand soldiers to avoid damage. Her root is extremely dangerous as she can burst you in a moments notice.
Neeko
Neeko loses to Azir on all fronts. Azir outpaces her with consistent damage, so just avoid her skill shots and you'll be fine. When she tries to all in you at 6, just have a sand soldier prepared for escape.
Viktor
At level one, Viktor's able to absorb most of the damage you try to deal to him through his Q shield. This makes early laning phase more difficult against him. As Viktor upgrades his skills, he also outscales Azir in terms of E poke damage as well, so he can zone you from cs. When Viktor hits level 6, you don't want to all in him because the moment he ults, it begins tracking you, and if he combos it with his W stun, you lose that fight 90% of the time. If you aren't stunned at the time of his ult, use a sand soldier for escape.
Caitlyn
Azir typically out damages Cait in terms of consistent poke. Avoid her bear traps, and you can zone her from cs most of the game. If she tries to poke you under tower after 6, just W, E, Q, R her into tower.
Brand
Brand has a lot of poke from level two, so hitting level two first is your objective. Even if you hit level two, he still outpokes without having to enter your sand soldier range, so he wins trades. As Azir, I recommend playing it safe so you can farm up and get the gold advantage. When he moves in, it's extremely hard to avoid his bounce attack, but avoiding his circular attack is key. That's where a lot of his poke damage comes from. At level 6, if he catches you in a stun, he can burst your health down almost instantly. I don't recommend face checking bushes once he hits 6.
Talon
Talon's potential for killing Azir isn't to be taken lightly, however, if you can bait Talon into using his W, you can contest a lot of his early game damage pressure. An additional problem is that Talon can hop over Azir's wall if you knock him back, allowing him to follow up if you don't have a safe escape. Until he actually ults though, you're typically able to poke him down enough to have a chance to kill him. If he lands two stacks of his W on you, use a sand soldier to escape, and have the shield take the majority of the bleed damage.
Yone
Yone is a threat at level 6, mainly. As long as you stay away from his Q3, you win all trades, and can deny him a lot of cs early game. When his Q3 is up, and his E, you want to ready a sand soldier for escape. If he catches you in a combo, your advantage dwindles rapidly.
Yasuo
Yasuo R from Azir R in a team fight can turn the tides in seconds.
Gnar
Gnar's Mega version's R into Azir's R wall will absolutely obliterate any enemies caught in it in seconds. The plus side of this, is, Gnar's knock back range is enough that you can combo it without having to work within a tight window.
Ornn
Timing an Azir R and Ornn's knock-up is an extremely dangerous combo. There's a window for this, however, since it would need to be timed accurately to be used effeciently.
Lissandra
Lissandra's R into the already damaged foes from Azir's R will not only surprise them, but leverage the fight towards your teams favour in an instant.
Poppy
Poppy is an okay champ to synchronize with due to her stun being a single target stun. If Poppy flanks, for your R, you can pick off their most essential champion off of one stun. Game changing if done right.
Pyke
Pyke's potential as a champ is already huge by himself. When Azir's wall keeps enemies at bay while whittling them down from the other side of it, Pyke can come in for extremely smooth executions.
Galio
If done correctly, an Azir using himself as bait into Zhonya's Hourglass- "INCOMES GALIO! BOOOOOM!" then the W, E, Q, R combo will instantly melt the enemy team.
Pantheon
Pantheon's R matched with Azir's R is a devastating combo. If you can bait the enemy team into your Pantheon's ult position, you can knock them back, not giving them the chance to avoid the initial damage from Panethon's ult. This will also give you the distance advantage, where Azir will be in a relatively safe spot on the other side of the wall able to whittle down opponents as they fight the rest of the team.
Malphite
Malphite's R prior to Azir's R is basically a chain cc combo. In order to get the most out of this combo, you must be ready to follow up as Azir, instantly. The initial damage should be so destructive that the enemy team will have no choice but to back off, or get demolished without much chance to fight back.
Maokai
Maokai's R is a great ult for Azir to prep into. Once the enemies are rooted, all Azir has to do is W, E, Q, R combo the enemy team into his team, and pick off those who were unfortunate enough to not be tanks.
