[13.11] Glorious Sion Guide to win in low ELO!

By BradJr
Pros & Cons
+ Easy to play
+ Great Wave-clear
+ High Damage for a Tank
+ Outplay Potential with spacing
+ One of the best Front-lines
+ Infinite Scaling
- Needs good spacing
- Many counters
- Needs macro to play properly
- Falls off if behind because of team
- Team follow-up needed in team-fights
- Can easily lose early

Heartsteel - Best mythic for Tank Sion. The damage on it scales with Health, and Soul Furnace gives infinite scaling health as well.

Jak'Sho, The Protean - Alternative option. Generally worse, as Sion gets more value out of the burst from heartsteel and the scaling health.

Level 1: Take Q if you plan on cheesing the enemy with it, otherwise take W. Try to equal the push of the enemy, so that you don't fall behind in level. Poke with your abilities if your opponent allows you to.

Level 2: Take either W or Q, depending on what you took level one. You can now hold Q long enough to get the stun easily, because your W shield can keep you alive. If you ever die, you should be able to kill immobile opponents if you poke correctly.

Level 3: Take E and use it off cooldown to hit both the wave and your opponent with it. Be careful about ganks if your wave is pushed in.If your jungle wants to gank, Q slightly before they come off vision, this will catch your opponent off-guard.

Level 6: At this point, you should have some item components/epic items. Push waves aggresively and use demolish off cooldown, even if you lose some health for it. If you have Heartsteel already try to constantly hit your opponent with it for the extra health and burst. Don't be afraid to use your ultimate to escape a bad death or to push a tower!

Levels 6-11 (midgame): At this point in the game, your best option is to splitpush. By constantly harrasing towers, you either get Heartsteel stacks from anyone who tries to contest the splitpush, or you just get free towers. Eitherway you win.

Levels 11-16 (lategame): At this pointbin the game, you should have a lot of stacks on your W, and you should start joining fights with your team. You should always go in first, as your death does nit mean much, considering your passive. When you are close to enemies, your autoattacks and Sunfire Aegis burn will deal an unexpected amount of damage.
