Hello, I'm Austin and I'm a high elo (Silver 1) Rell enjoyer, and I think she has potential to be an amazing flex pick between Top, Jungle, and Support. This guide is to help encourage people to try her top lane, and realize what an amazing pick she is !!!

Pros

+ Easy to pick up and learn

+ Great Roaming Potential

+ Works well on low gold

Cons
- Low damage, hard to push a lead and get solo kills

- Poor splitpushing and side laning potential

- Difficult laning into strong meta picks

- More team reliant than other picks, near impossible to solo carry.

- No in lane sustain without runes.

Rell's passive turns her into an amazing counterpick top lane to tanks who stack resistances, such as ornn and malphite. Additionally, in team fights this allows you to grant your team what is basically %armor and magic pen on the entire enemy team as long as you can land your abilities.

Rell's Q is an amazing tool during lane and team fights. Since her rework, this does the same damage as her W (assuming they're the same level), making this a great option to max, as it is the only ability that reduces it's cooldown every rank. I like maxing Q in lane, as it grives great poke, great damage, and it's nice to keep your stun and main damage ttool on a low cooldown. The stun on this is AoE, so try to hit as many people with it as you can, and keep in mind that it has a very small hitbox behind rell as well, this can be very useful if you have nemies on either side of you.

Rell's crash down W, is an amazing engage tool. It grants you a 12% max heath shield, and knocks up all people in it's landing radius. Unfortunately, this ability is not unstoppable, so you must bait out enemy CC before you use this, otherwise it will be cancelled. This ability can also be used over walls for escapes, surprise engages, and has great synergy with your ult. Rell's Mount Up W, is a great tool to chase down enemies, especially in tandem with your E, as together they grant you insane move speed, and let you run down enemies, and flip them over your head behind you. In team fights, you want to play around the cooldown of your W, by disengaging and re-engaging whenever it is off cooldown.

Great ultimate, use it before using your W crash down to guarantee a knockup on multiple people. Great at grouping people up, and slowing down an enemy's escape. It's cooldown also syncs up nearly perfectly with Radiant Virtue if you take Cosmic Insight. Use this ability in team fights to engage, or in ganks if your laner tries to run, and they dont have an easy dash to get out of it.
