This champ is REALLY easy early game, but as soon as he gets hextech revolver he becomes a problem. Just try your best to bully him out of lane, and deny his CS
Ekko
Now this is just a full skill matchup, who ever snowballs first will win the lane. Unless you out play him with W.
Cho'Gath
Cho'gath is a pretty free lane, you can bully him out of lane, and snowball pretty hard. Just a caution, try to stay away from his slience combo. If he trys to all in, I would W, Q, ult then E him. This will make sure you stay alive and completely shred his combo.
Dr. Mundo
I haven't had this match-up yet, but seen other players facing him, I would think just to try to out-scale him pre-6, you can easily doge his Q and should be able to win trades.
Garen
This lane sucks, pre-6 is a strugle, with garens OP sustain and dmg output, he is overall a couter to alot of champions top. Try to stay back and farm, if you see him use his Q, then use your W and see if you can hit a stun. If do so you should be able to get some good damage off.
Darius
This champ isn't too bad early on, his sustain is really good, but engaging with him is easy. Just dont get dunked on. Deny his CS with Q+E and see if you can bully him out of lane.
Gnar
Gnar, Gnar, this champ has REALLY good CC when he becomes MEGA, just bully him early on, and when he becomes mega, just fall back and see if you can hit a W.
Graves
This champion should be a pretty easy match up. Just dont let him snowball you, because he can become tanky, and yet put out ALOT of DPS. Bully early.
Fizz
Fizz is just a counter to a lot of skill shot reliant champions, just try to bully early on and when he hits six, be careful of the all in. Get trades when he uses his E.
Illaoi
This champion right now is insane in the top lane. Putting out good DPS with her ult, and her annoying soul steal, just makes this a terrible match-up. Then again, you're Ekko, Just like alot of these champions, poke early. Later in the game, just try to negate her damage with your W.
Jarvan IV
This champion is a werid match-up, if he gets the CC early on and gets 6 before you, it might be a struggle. But when you both have six, you should easily out scale him.
Jax
Jax is a weird match-up, with his really op late game scaling, I think you should just get feed off him early. Try to engage when he uses his counter-strike on minions. If he doesn't, you can flash it and then re-engage.
Jayce
I havent seen a lot of Jayces, but I think you can out scale him and win most duels, just doge his speed boost + bow shot, and then engage. A lot of Jayces dont output nearly as much damages as you should. Again, bully early.
Zac
I haven't seen many Zacs, but when I do its usally a fight between who can output the most damage. You DEFINITELY out-scale him in damage, he is WAY more tanky though. He is a bit of a early game struggle though due to his crazy CC, just try trade with Q+E
Kayle
This champion is really a HUGE struggle, but getting CS is really difficult with her insane kite. You both can get out of bad situations with ULTs, so I would say stay back a bit, and get your jungler (pre-6) to get you fed.
Yasuo
I've seen a lot of Yasuos in the top lane, and their actually pretty easy match-ups, unless they are Voyboy. If their pull crazy sh** early on, just stay back and farm.
Tryndamere
I absoultly HATE this champion, yet he isn't the worst match-up he can cause some post-6 issues. He outputs a TON of damage and can go invisible. As well as this, his insane passive gets him A LOT of sustain. Farm early, and try to outscale him.
Trundle
Trundle is an interesting match-up, You both do alot of DPS, but you do way more early on. If he builds armor, you're in luck, because that armor wont be stopping you're main kit. Farm and out scale him, and you will win your lane.
Teemo
SATAN, GOD NO PLEASE. Okay, it isnt THAT bad, but damn teemo is a pain in the ***. Just try to out scale him and get oracles on your lvl 6 back. One tip is engage when you hit your W, Tankmo doesn't have enough DPS (unless he is fed over you) to kill you. He WILL try to bully you out of lane, so prepare for a raging early game.
Rengar
I still don't understand why people do this, he does OKAY scaling, but you do SO much better, he cant really run tanky items, and you just out-scale him in every way. Easy lane.
Tahm Kench
Kench is interesting, if they can outplay you and get you into his mouth, you might be in trouble, as well as his shield can completely negate your bust. Other than that you should have a really easy lane. IF he over extends, just punish him. His shield wont last forever.
Renekton
This champion is INSANE right now, his early game DPS and his stun is INSANE. His ult just gives him HP and makes him more tanky. Just CS and get fed off other lanes.
Riven
Okay this champion is INSANE, especially if they are really good with her. The amount of CC on her kit is INSANE, she'll be able to kill you without you even having a chance to react. Build ice born ASAP.
Pantheon
Patheon also has INSANE amounts of CC to his kit. Just try to farm and all in him when he uses his passive + W.
Olaf
Low elo players will have a problem with Olaf, espically since he got this buff. I think he should be pretty easy and you should have more DPS, hit your W, easy kill.
Malphite
Malaphite is interesting, you should be able to tear though his early/mid game tankiness, just beware of his ult when you're getting ganked. Try to flash it if possible.
Gragas
I'm starting to see Gragas in the top lane now, this should be an easy match up. But again beware of his ULT, it really could get you into a bad position.
Rammus
Rammus is a difficult match-up, with his early game tankiness and crazy amounts of CC. Just try to bully him out of lane with Q W+E combo.
Quinn
Quinn is a really insane champ, her kit is insane with great roaming capabilities. I think that you should be able to out scale her. That is if she doesn't get feed out of other lanes. Just try to ping when she is missing.
Nasus
This champion is a really easy match-up, just deny his CS and you should be tanky enough to last getting oneshotted by his Q. If he ults, I would stop engaging because he is basically invisible from you.
Master Yi
Free lane, you outscale him if he doesnt get fed.
Maokai
This champ is annoying, alot of CC and annoying poke. He is pretty tanky combined with his ult. Just beware and farm the lane.
Rumble
Easy lane. No CC, you're unstoppable.
Wukong
This champ might be difficult if he ults, but other than that is a free lane. You should outscale him and win most 1V1s
Singed
Really easy lane, just don't chase him. Farm. Dont try to kill him, you'll just get rekt by is poison.
Yorick
Annoying lane with his ghouls but other than that, should be pretty easy.
Hello, my name is Unassigned, and I've been playing league for a record 1 year. For the most of that time, I've played Ekko, I got gold 3 last season and I have yet to be ranked this season! (Haven't had a lot of time) If you have ANY questions and see a mistake, but it in the dicussion below.
Seals of armor will be great in the top lane with Ekko, most of top-lanes have AD, and so you should still have that sustain against your lane opponent.
