Hey im Phazerrr, Ive been playing league since feburary 2021 and ive taken a huge liking to volibear, with the new season 13 coming up i thought i would share my kwowledge with all of you hoping it helps, i will try and keep up my guide based on how the meta is going and what i find success with. Also, I know this probs isnt the most perfect guide with the items and runes but i find massive success with all of them. I am currently only Plat but hopefully i will continue the grind and update the list as neccassary.

Most people see Volibear as an unskillful champ who is super easy to play. But honestly thats far from the truth as the people who claim this still make a million mistakes on the so and so simple champ. Volibear is an interesting champ who has gone through massive item changes the last few major updates and honestly hes probs the most flexible champ when it comes to items and i cant think of anyone who has more flexibilty them him. While he may be limited while in the jungle for his items theres still a few different builds he can go. Now if you truly want to master voli i suggest going through all the builds and runes i have laid out and experiment a bit with switching out items depending on match ups. The builds I put are all stanadard for what they can do but can still be improved based off your judgement.

1. when using your e make sure youre leading it into your targets location rather then on them as most the time they cant dodge without flash.
2. when fighting a bruiser who wins quick fights make sure you play around your w, you can e and then q into it while quickly w them as your q goes off and back off them til w is back up, w can out sustain most damage in the game.
3.never use your ult at the start of a fight, this is the biggest mistake i see most people make, you never just wanna jump onto your target and be a free kill if no one follows up, always make sure you use it to dodge long cc, tower diving but most the time you wanna e to q into the ult for more damage, or when securing a kill as someone may flash over a wall and you dont have flash but youll have ult, or when youre low on health and you need a bit to just survive but you should e into ult and hit w on marked champ youre fighting for max sustain. there are a few exeptions to this rule and thats when youre using ult to save a teammate from turret or your team is planning to end game and you need to deactivate the last two turrets to just push your way in.
