Im going AD reds, Armor yellows, health per lvl blues and ad quints
FOR NO EXPERIENCE JAYCE PLAYERS: you can go Attack Speed Quints for easier csing and poking

Masteries im going for Thunderlord's Decree because its amazing early game and it helps Jayce to get early lead which is crucial, Jayce can proc thunderlord really fast and it's good addition to his damage

Fervor of Battle is for second build, split push and against tanks, obviously against tanks thunderlord will help only in early trades but fervor can help you so much in long trades/all in's.

In ranked with Jayce you have huge snowball potentional therefore its crucial to win early game where Jayce is really strong leading into a massive beast midgame, you can take 2 options: teamfight with your team or splitpush, both are good since jayce has huge amount of damage and he also has great 1v1 potentional for splitpushing and w for melting towers

Jayce's pros:
6 abbilities
Ranged & Melee
Huge damage early & Mid Game
No counterpicks, Jayce can win any matchup and according to opgg on almost every matchup Jayce has over 50% winrate

Cons:
If you lose early it sucks, you will have to play safer which wont lead into your mid game powerspike that's why playing aggresive and risky is good on Jayce because if you get lead it's over
He falls so much in late game

Farming should be extremely easy with Jayce, you have E Q to cut whole wave, w is amazing early if you aren't comfortable in your csing, you can always use your abbilities to farm because Jayce's Hammer W passive is giving you mana back on every autoattack you do in hammer form, so if you have mana problems there is the solution!

Teamfighting with Jayce is amazing there is only 1 way to fight as Jayce and that is to start off fight with focusing their carries by doing EQ, if you can pull out Q E its better because its unexpected, ye its slower but its not expected, after you chunk their health with poke you should transfer into Hammer form and go for QW and auto him till they are extremely low and E them for the kill, if somehow they survive you should have your ranged form back up to end up with basic/q
