Introduction
What:I am a one trick pony Master Yi.
When:I started in season 6 and Master Yi is just a champion I always found fun due to his simple kit but very fun gameplay.
Where:huh...?
Why:I play Master Yi because I have only one eye, but I also play him because he's fun.
Powerfarm Heavy/Split-push playstyle:
Conqueror > Triumph > Alacrity > Coup de Grace
Nimbus Cloak > Celerity.
Pros:
- Conqueror gives you the ability to freely choose who to kill. (You will have no problem killing anyone)
- Nimbus Clock gives a nice burst of movement speed to make Highlander somewhat of a viable ability.
- Celerity gives a very nice amount of movement speed and the attack damage bonus is just sweet.
Cons:
- May start fights without a keystone. (I highly recommend split-pushing with Conqueror, because you will always have the keystone ready)
- May have issues with survivability in team-fights.
- Will have to learn and get comfortable with Conqueror's funky mechanic of preparing the keystone pre-fight if one desires to teamfight.
Gank Heavy/Team-fight playstyle:
Press the Attack > Triumph > Alacrity > Coup De Grace
Sudden Impact > Ravenous Hunter
Pros:
- Do not have to stack conqueror pre-fight. You have your keystone from the get-go.
- Extra damage from Sudden Impact.
- A underestimated amount of survivability with Ravenous Hunter. (Fun fact: Ravenous Hunter applies on your activated E)
Cons:
- May have slight issues with tanks, but it is only slight.
- May have issues getting kited due to lack of Nimbus Cloak.
- When behind, Ravenous Hunter is difficult to stack.

After the recent Q nerfs to Master Yi, putting all your early points into Alpha Strike is a (In my opinion) a bad idea. You no longer one-shot waves so this idea to max Q is kind of out of the picture. Most of Master Yi's damage comes from his E anyways, especially on On-Hit Master Yi. So putting three points in Q and rest points in E is optimal.
