Introduction

This guide is for low Elo players. As a "support" Zoe, you should be doing decent damage even without CS. This is my first guide so it might be bad :(

Pros / Cons

Pros

+ High damage CC
+ Low cooldown
+ Good poke
+ Good utility
+ Good dodge

Cons
+ Squishy
+ Denie kills from ADC
+ Useless if losing

Spells

Primary spell

Main summoner spell, always take this. can be used to gap close after shooting if is on cooldown. Movement speed from will allow you to disengage quickly.

Secondary spell

You should start this 90% of the time. allows you to engage at Level 1 when invading. This spell can be switched out later using for the summoner spells below. Post-nerf Zoe will require ignite to 100-0 squishies.

Switchable spell

Consider switching to after first back if enemy is strong early game. Eg: and . Most of the time, Zoe will be able to get heal through so it is not reccomended to keep heal mid-late game.

If dead or switching to with can help you split push a lane quickly or gank other lanes.

Not really useful as dodges/negates most CC. Use cleanse if laneing against another support or support.

Skills

First skill

Usually, you would take first due to its good poke. Wave clear is slow during the first few minutes so it will be hard to hit . However, if your jungler wants to invade, or if their jungler is invading, start for Level 1 engage.
Combos

Try to proc your passive more sparkles as much as possible. The following combos can be changed to suit your playstyle.

Q-AA-Q-AA (For poking early game)
Q-Q-R-AA-E (For poking mid game)
R-Q-Q-AA (Full damage)
Q-AA-W-Ignite-Q-AA-R-AA-E-AA (Duel)

Farming

Balloons

Balloons are very important for Zoe's kit. Even useless balloons can still give a huge movement speed boost and help secure kills for your ADC. Make sure to tell your ADC to leave balloon minions.

Common low Elo matchups

Play safe earlygame. Even if he is not fed, do not underestimate his damage. If his support is or , only use flash to disengage or if is a confirm kill.

Becareful of his Pre-6. After getting , his CC should fail 70% of the time. allows you to dodge his . Even if it hits you, you will not be pulled as you teleport back to your original position.
